Macron to Iran: 'Stop the war & you can have whatever you want'

📞 Macron calls Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei: 

Macron told Mr. Khamenei, “You are punishing the world, not Trump, and the world will face an unprecedented famine and economic collapse.”

Mr. Khamenei interrupted him and asked, “Where were you when the Iranian people were starved for 45 years?”

Macron: “This is American policy, and we reject it, as we have stated previously.”

Macron: “Now I propose a meeting with the European Union countries, and you can have whatever you wish.”

Mr. Khamenei replied, “We don’t want anything except to punish Trump and Netanyahu.”

Macron: “And request exemptions for French ships to pass through.”

Mr. Khamenei responded, “Expel the American and Israeli ambassadors, and then you can pass through. We don’t deal with those who rely on two sides. That’s all I have to say.” 

He then hung up.
