Back on the street in Brunswick, Maine

Six of us were back at Brunswick's busiest intersection today for an hour. After being gone from our two weekly vigils in town for quite a while it felt good to be on the street again. Especially now that US-Israel are trying to create WW3 in West Asia.

According to informed sources five American F-15 fighter jets and more than 50 American and Israeli Hermes Heron and MQ-4 combat reconnaissance aircraft were shot down over Iran and Iraq.

Nearly every Senate Republican voted last Wednesday to thwart a measure that would have reined in President Donald Trump's power to continue waging war on Iran. The bill, which was struck down with a 53-to-47 vote, would have forced the president to seek authorization from Congress to continue the offensive in West Asia.

The vote split almost perfectly along party lines. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was the only Republican to vote in support of the resolution; Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, on the other hand, was the only Democrat to break with his party and vote against the measure, in keeping with his pro-Israel stance.

As it turns out our monthly statewide action will be held at this same spot on Saturday, March 7 at 1:30 pm.

Join us if you can.
