Waiting for more war in Iran....

  • Sovereignista: By theatrically rejecting Iran’s latest comprehensive plan to end the war, Trump has trapped the US at a fatal three-way crossroads: resume a losing war, accept humiliating defeat under Iran’s terms, or face endless escalation.
  • The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has warned the US and its allies, saying that any attack on Iranian tankers or commercial vessels in the Persian Gulf or beyond will trigger a heavy and decisive response targeting American military centers in the region and enemy ships.
  • Trump on Iran: “We'll get Iran's enriched uranium at some point. We have Space Force doing surveillance on that site. If somebody walked in, they can tell you his name, his address, and the number of his badge. If anybody gets near the place, we will know about it, and we'll blow him up.”
  • Donald Trump orders all U.S. federal agencies to ‘buy American'. Economy must be really in the mud. Let's see, what does America makes these days? Weapons, weapons, weapons and more weapons.
  • Andris Sprūds, the Latvian Minister of Defence has resigned after two Ukrainian drones hit oil storage facilities in the Baltic nation. Ukraine and Latvia are supposed to be allied against Russia.
  • Speaking of the Baltic swamp called Latvia the 'ever vigilant' police stopped a woman for having a handbag in the ‘colors of the Russian flag’. Alas the bag was in fact a Tommy Hilfiger brand and the clueless cops begrudgingly had to let the woman go.

  • UAE deports Pakistani workers over ceasefire mediation. Abu Dhabi has reportedly initiated a large-scale expulsion of Pakistani nationals, freezing bank accounts and detaining workers, in apparent retaliation for Islamabad's role in brokering recent US-Iran ceasefire negotiations. (UAE is a very bad actor.)
  • Very interesting… something to keep an eye on: American Special Ops Command (SOC) mothership, MV Ocean Trader, was seen at Diego Garcia. MV Ocean Trader is basically a gigantic floating Command Center for special operations and has barracks for special forces.
  • Bahrain is carrying out mass house raids, arresting people, stripping them from their citizenship, and torturing them as well. The Bahraini Ministry of Interior claims they are arresting “IRGC-linked” individuals, but that’s just a misleading cover story to arrest the shia religious individuals.
  • In southern Lebanon childhood does not grow… it is buried too early. 🥀

  • Advisor to the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ali Safavi to Al-Mayadeen: We are ready for all speculations in the field. Iran has responded to all American provocative steps in the Strait of Hormuz and there is a lack of trust in the Americans.  We receive messages through various channels that America does not want a military escalation. All wars end with negotiations except with America, where negotiations end in wars. We did not want to use the Strait as a card, but America attacked us and we responded and its attacks can no longer be ignored. America cannot use the Strait again to launch attacks on Iran and the countries of the region.
  • Maduro was the iron curtain that held the US outside Venezuela. The US has removed all remaining 13.5 kg enriched uranium from Venezuela, and sent it to the US to reuse.
  • Israeli Channel 13: Trump pledged to Netanyahu that he would not make concessions regarding Iranian uranium.
  • The "Immortal Regiment" in Khabarovsk, Russia on May 9 brought together around 50,000 people. These events in cities and towns all over the country brought out countless millions carrying signs of their relatives who fought and/or were killed in the WW2 defeat of the invading German Nazis. The former Soviet Union lost 28 million. In comparison the US lost about 420,000.

  • Christian Sorensen writes: Instead of doubling down on a war economy that doesn’t prioritize good jobs, Congress should pass laws that initiate industrial conversion. Industrial conversion -- changing what factories produce -- could turn the US war industry into an enterprise that develops all kinds of beneficial goods and services, from weather satellites and hospital ships to high-speed trains and fundamental scientific research. Non-war industries such as education and healthcare produce more jobs and actually improve public well-being. A win-win.
  • Germany seeks to purchase US Tomahawk cruise missiles. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius plans to visit Washington to negotiate the acquisition of the long-range missiles, following the Pentagon's recent cancellation of planned Tomahawk deployments on German soil.
  • The Iranian fast boats, chasing the US Aegis destroyers out of Hormuz in the video, says: “Yeah go ahead and flee! Here is the cradle of the earth and the land of the Iranians, here is a piece of Islam."

  • Wall Street Journal report: During the months leading up to the attack on Iran, Israeli forces, in coordination with the US, established a secret military base deep in Iraq’s western desert. The purpose of the site was to provide an advanced operations platform and a launch point for Combat Search and Rescue teams in case Israeli pilots were forced to eject over Iranian territory. On a dark night in March, the secrecy surrounding the site nearly collapsed. After detecting suspicious movements by local Bedouins, an Iraqi army patrol moved to inspect the area. As the Iraqi vehicles approached the security perimeter of the secret base, Israeli drones launched a precise strike targeting the lead Iraqi vehicle, killing an Iraqi soldier. The incident triggered alarm in Baghdad, but Iraqi officials at the time did not realize they had been attacked from a base operating on their own territory. Nevertheless, the Iraqi government in Baghdad was kept completely unaware of this serious breach of its sovereignty.

  • The Hebrew website Walla: The Israeli Mossad has been operating in Iraq for decades; it has strong and close ties with the Kurds in northern Iraq, and provides them with training, guidance, intelligence information, and combat and technological means.
  • Israeli Channel 13: Citing an Israeli source, it was reported that the IDF believes that Iran’s current weakness represents an operational opportunity to return and complete the mission.  Meanwhile, the Mossad believes that resuming the war would accelerate the deterioration of the Iranian regime and lead to its collapse.

  • Marco Rubio: Is the world going to accept that Iran now controls an international waterway? Iran response: The Iranian blockade of Hormuz is far more acceptable to the world community than the American blockade of Cuba.

  • The coming NASA Mars missions are not normal. NASA is preparing nuclear propulsion as a way to reach Mars quicker. Compared to traditional rockets, this technology could reduce travel time. The nuclear industry views space as its next big market. Nuclear rockets to Mars will be tested over our heads in Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). Plans call for nuclear powered bases on the Moon and nuclear run mining colonies on Mars and other planetary bodies. The long inept Dept of Energy (DoE) labs across the US have a tragic history of polluting water, air and workers with radioactive leaks as they fabricate space nuclear devices that have been launched since the 1960's. See www.space4peace.org for more.

  • Kit Klarenberg writes: On May 3, The Guardian revealed that NATO has held a series of secret meetings with film directors, screenwriters and TV producers in cities from Paris to Los Angeles. The disclosure suggests NATO is seeking to employ the entertainment industry in its propaganda operations as a European war with Russia looms. At a forthcoming London summit, NATO operatives are set to meet with screenwriters tied to the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (WGGB). In email correspondence, the union told its members the event will focus on the “evolving security situation in Europe and beyond.”
