Iran's President Pezeshkian: 'If politics has no ethics we get chaos & piracy'

 

• After a resounding failure, Trump announces: At Pakistan's request, and due to the overwhelming military success we achieved during the campaign against Iran, as well as the progress in the deal with Iran, the Freedom Flotilla (ship passage through the Strait of Hormuz) project has been temporarily suspended. If they do not agree, the bombing will begin, and unfortunately, it will be at a much higher level of intensity and force than before. 
• Tasnim News Agency: The American proposal includes unacceptable clauses. American reports on the agreement aim to justify Trump's backtracking on his actions in the Strait of Hormuz. Threatening Tehran is ineffective and could worsen the situation for America. A reporter has learned from reliable sources that parts of the content published by Axios regarding the Iran-US agreement are media speculation and narrative-building. Axios published parts of what it described as the US-desired agreement with Iran, containing excessive and unrealistic demands that have been strongly rejected by Iranian officials in recent days. The nuclear issue is not being discussed at this stage of the negotiations at all.

• Israeli media reports: Abu Dhabi is pressuring Washington to take military action against Iran. A senior official in Abu Dhabi contacted the Israeli ambassador to the UAE and called for pressuring Washington to act against Iran.

• Kan (Israeli) channel: The Israeli message to Trump: Negotiations with Iran are a waste of time, and the current escalation should be used to return to fighting. 
• Standing at the White House podium, Trump’s Secretary of State admitted the entire new goal of this war is to get Iran “back to the way it was” — open waters, no mines, no tolls, free passage for everyone. You know… exactly the way it was before they started the war.

• Is this America First? Trump has just pardoned Joseph Schwartz, who stole $38 billion dollars from the paychecks of his employees at his nursing home empire. Money which was intended to go to their healthcare and retirement benefits. He only served 3 months of his sentence.

• Iran’s joint military command (Khatam Al Anbiya) has also officially DENIED involvement in any new attacks against the UAE. The statement says the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have not carried out any missile or drone operations against the UAE in recent days, and if any action had been taken, they would have announced it decisively and clearly.

• China is putting AI in its place. A Chinese court forbids to replace people with AI.  In Hangzhou, a worker was dismissed after automation and offered a lower-paid role, the court called it illegal, Fortune reports.  Firms can adopt AI, but not fire staff as cost-cutting measure.
• The US military carried out another strike on a boat in the Caribbean, killing two people.

• The U.S. Department of State has approved a potential Foreign Military Sale to Ukraine worth about $373.6 million for Joint Direct Attack Munitions–Extended Range (JDAM-ER) and related equipment. The request includes 1,200 KMU-572 JDAM tail kits and 332 KMU-556 kits, along with fuze systems, spare parts, software, technical documentation, and logistical support.
• Last night in New York an Orthodox Jewish rally says: "We reject Zionism."  

• The U.S.-led “Board of Peace,” overseeing postwar plans in the Gaza Strip, does not intend to require Israel to uphold the October 2025 ceasefire if Hamas refuses the proposed disarmament framework, according to The Times of Israel.
• America just made gold its number one export and it’s pouring straight into China via Switzerland. For the last five months running, US gold shipments have topped everything else the country sells abroad. America is quietly surrendering the one asset that still commands respect when the dollar starts to wobble. It’s the visible symptom of a deeper reckoning: Beijing is no longer content to hold endless piles of U.S. Treasuries or accept dollars for its oil and goods. China is forcing real settlement in the one currency that can’t be printed into oblivion. The empire ships bullion east while its navy steams around the Gulf pretending it still runs the world. So how exactly does this serve the United States? It doesn’t. But it sure as hell serves China. The empire is literally melting down its patrimony and handing the real money to the competition while the increasingly worthless dollar printing machine keeps spinning. 

• Last Friday evening, the State Department announced a new weapons package for Israel valued at nearly $1 billion. The weapons included are Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems, laser-guided rockets which can be fired from aircraft or helicopters. This weapons giveaway is part of a slate of transfers both to Israel and to Gulf countries, valued at more than $8.5 billion. BYPASSING CONGRESS: The Trump administration is bypassing Congressional review of these transfers. This is the fifth time that the administration has flouted Congressional prerogatives to expedite the delivery of US weapons to Israel.
• Jeffrey Sachs, the American analyst and economist: 'If you have a U.S. military base in your country, then you are not an independent state. That is a basic statement. These countries are occupied. Unfortunately, they are unable to present any coherent position. They speak only about Iran’s attack at the United Nations and do not even mention that Iran itself was attacked.' So who are the insane ones?

• Chinese Foreign Ministry: Japan bears grave historical responsibilities for Southeast Asian countries including the Philippines due to its aggression and colonial rule. In this special year which marks the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Tokyo trials, the once aggressor has failed to deeply reflect on its historical crimes. Instead, it has sent military forces overseas and fired offensive missiles under the pretext of security cooperation. This move once again proves that Japanese right-wing forces are pushing for accelerated remilitarization of Japan. They have repeatedly breached Japan’s exclusively defense-oriented policy and relevant rules in international and domestic laws. 

• Israeli “investors” have bought about 70% of the village of Trozina in southern Cyprus, and have taken control of a large portion of the land and many of the buildings in the area. 

• Haaretz quotes reserve officers: 'There are officers who specialize in manipulating numbers and percentages and know how to conceal information that does not present the army in a favorable light. The army does not publish all data related to the number of soldiers who were discharged during the war due to psychological conditions.'
• Associated Press: Gasoline prices in the United States have risen by 50% compared to what they were before the war on Iran.

• After more than five days, the protester who scaled the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C. has come down because he has run out of water and food. As the one-man protest of activist Guido Reichstadter reached its fifth day, 168 feet above the Anacostia River on the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington, DC, the anti-war activist who is protesting the US-Israel war on Iran was receiving praise both at home and worldwide. 

• According to Iranian think tank Meshkat, this wreckage belongs to a MQ-9A Extended Range USAF drone. This means that Iran shot down a hostile MQ-9 Reaper drone during a joint UAE-US operation near the Strait of Hormoz, this week. The MQ-9A is a newer US-operated version with longer endurance. This would be 25th visual proof of a downed MQ-9 in Iran.
