The US will soon be sending its Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to China where he will get on his already scuffed-up knees to beg Beijing to bail the US out as Washington's debt continues to grow.
- Total US debt increased by $2.17 trillion to $37.64 trillion in 2025
No other nation is in a position to help the US cover its massive debt. Not the collapsing EU. Japan can't do it as that nation now has its own fiscal problems.
Russia certainly isn't going to do it. Not after having to deal with the proxy war the US-NATO aimed at Russia since the 2014 US backed coup in Ukraine that installed the Nazis from the western part of the nation.
Trump has two options. One is to get China to buy the US debt and the other is to steal all of Venezuela's oil which over time would bail Washington out.
One big problem for Trump is that much of the Venezuelan oil that he is now stealing was purchased by China. That is obviously not going to make Beijing more eager to help Trump.
What do you think comes next?
