U.S. attacks Venezuela - Protest in Brunswick, Maine

• Targeting Cuartel de la Montaña in Caracas—home to Hugo Chávez’s mausoleum—violates international law. Converted to a museum in 1981, it’s a protected cultural heritage site under Geneva Conventions’ Additional Protocol I (Art. 53), not a military target unless actively militarized which is not the case here.
• This is the most heinous representation of the US’ hatred for the achievements of the Bolivarian Revolution.
• Not even the dead are safe from the US’ colonial barbarism.
• Attorney General Pamela Bondi: "Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Nicolas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States. They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts".
• Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said that his nation “denounces and urgently demands the reaction of the international community against the criminal attack by the US on Venezuela.” He added that “our zone of peace is being brutally assaulted. State terrorism against the brave Venezuelan people and against Our America.”
• Former Bolivian President Evo Morales said that he “strongly and unequivocally repudiates the bombing of the United States against Venezuela. It is a brutal imperialist aggression that violates its sovereignty. All our solidarity with the Venezuelan people in resistance. Venezuela is not alone,” the ex-president stated.
• Rania Khalek: The US is run by homicidal lunatics heading a dying parasitic empire. They will destroy the world if they aren’t stopped. The same administration that just pardoned a former Honduran narco dictator who trafficked 400 tons of cocaine into the US is now indicting the Venezuelan president based on lies about drugs. 
• Trump is the Billionaires war lord.
• The US is a rogue state run by a gangster.
• Venezuelan forces are being deployed around the country in an attempt to stop regime change.
• Craig Murray: Sometimes it is worth stating the obvious. There is zero evidence that Venezuela is a major manufacturing or transit point for narcotics entering the USA. There is zero evidence that Nicolas Maduro is involved in drug trafficking.
• Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY): If this action were constitutionally sound, the Attorney General wouldn’t be tweeting that they’ve arrested the President of a sovereign country and his wife for possessing guns in violation of a 1934 U.S. firearm law. Meanwhile Trump announces he’s taken over the country and will run it until he finds someone suitable to replace him. Trump also says American oil companies will get to exploit the oil.
• This year, the Trump administration has executed 622 bomb, drone & missile strikes against 7 countries: Venezuela, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Iraq, Iran and Somalia.
