My heart turned from Israel to the people of the Nakba

We continue to hear Zionists in Israel, UK, USA and beyond say 'kill them all. They all are Hamas'.

These are clearly war crimes. Israel uses American money, weapons and satellite links for targeting Gaza.

Hospitals, Mosques, schools, UN rescue centers, shops, housing, bakeries all being destroyed. People being starved to death and bombed.

Throughout Europe the Zionist 'leaders' keep trying to ban Palestine solidarity marches. So much for their vaunted democracy.

Israel has dropped 25,000 tons of bombs and the US is rushing to send more.

Here in Brunswick, Maine yesterday, at our weekly peace vigil in the heart of downtown, we got more honks and waves than ever. The public heart seems to be awakening.

Two days ago Yemen reported they shot down a $32 million American reaper drone that was spying on them for Israel.

In Iraq, the liberation forces there continue to fire drone bombs at US military bases - reports are that about 56 GI's have been seriously wounded.

A regional war is cooking. 

Is this child really a terrorist?

 

Can America stop Zionist led Israel from its genocidal operations against Palestine? In recent days we've heard more about Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank. Does Israel intend to cleanse both Gaza and the West Bank? The answer appears to be YES.

With each day imperial America and Israel find that the world has turned its back on these two genocidal nations. Most across the Global South don't have to be convinced about the ugly history of Washington and Tel Aviv. 

In the 247 years of US history our government has been at war constantly except for 16 years. America is not about democracy. It is about endless war on behalf of corrupt, evil forces that wish to exploit and rule the world. Israel is the US military agent in the resource rich Middle East.

US 'diplomacy' with Blinken, and his dastardly crew of neo-cons, is non-existent. They lie thru their teeth and plan nothing but more war, death and environmental devastation.

Fortunately there are many Jews in the US and other nations who are now leading protests AGAINST Israel's death machine. This signals that the state of Israel is coming apart at the seams - like a well worn piece of cloth that no longer can hold the strands together.

Current events indicate that Israel is accelerating its own demise. Similarly, Washington is speeding up the collapse of the 'American experiment' that has long ago gone rotten. 

Israel hides behind a false narrative. It does not support Jewish people. In fact Tel Aviv supports corporate capital and its Nazi-backed head snashing military arm that wishes nothing more than full spectrum dominance of our Mother Earth.

My Italian grandfather was Jewish but when he came to America he hid his religion. When I was 15 years old he handed me a bag of old knit Yarmulkes. He told me they had been in the family for generations. That was all he said.

As a young person I had great sympathies for Israel. I read Exodus and in 1967 wished I was old enough to fight for Israel - but was too young. Since then I've witnessed years of tragic Israeli brutality toward the Palestinians. I have long refused to be silent about such cruelty. 

My heart turned from Israel to the people of the Nakba. There I proudly stand.
