Greedy bastards from private equity firms are buying up 'mobile home parks', across America.
Then they jack up the rent for parking their trailers on the land and often force the people out and then rent the trailers for even more money - increasing their profits.
'There is no American dream anymore - it's survival now', says the woman in this video.
Some mobile home parks are trying to form cooperatives and buy the park themselves. But often the residents don't have the extra cash to pull this off.
Some states are passing legislation to keep private equity from buying up these parks. More of this must happen NOW!
Private equity firms are nothing but heartless capitalist bastards. They should be made illegal.
