London police arrested multiple demonstrators at a pro-Palestinian protest outside the US Embassy on Saturday, October 31, after participants displayed messages supporting Palestine Action, a group banned by the UK government in 2025.
Organisers said more than 300 people took part, carrying signs declaring their support for the group and opposition to what they described as genocide. Police said the operation was ongoing but could not immediately confirm the number of arrests.
The demonstration brought together mostly older protesters who opposed Israel's war in Gaza and questioned the restrictions on free speech imposed by the ban. Palestine Action, founded in 2020, has targeted companies it says are linked to Israel's arms industry.
