PROTEST CLOSES SENATE OFFICE BUILDING IN DC TODAY
I went back down to Occupy Portland for nearly five hours today holding my Veterans for Peace sign that reads "How is the war economy working for you?" I also handed out a couple hundred more flyers.
Veterans for Peace was busy today as many of them were arrested at 1:00 am this morning in Boston when the cops grabbed about 50 of the many who have been occupying a park there.
Then this action was held in Washington earlier this morning at the Hart Senate Office Building and from what I heard they had to close the place down.
Things are popping everywhere across the country. Keep the organizing going folks. Get out and support your local actions. This movement is going to have to keep building before we see any real changes....so don't expect the worm to turn overnight. Keep the heat on.
