Does Israel have a right to our tax money?

• Yemeni Foreign Ministry: The Saudi regime should end the siege of Yemen and all its hostile actions in Yemen. The Saudi regime should strive to form alliances to save the oppressed Palestinian people and to support Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Zionist enemy. Buying friendship and squandering the wealth of the holy lands will never exempt the Saudi regime from the crimes it has committed in Yemen. If Israel were to strike Turkey or Pakistan, Yemen would strike Israel and stand with them. While Saudi Arabia would abandon them and content itself with written condemnations.
• Charlotte Dennett writes in Follow the Pipelines: Yemen is, in fact, saturated with oil, Yemeni economist Hassan Ali a-Sanaeri revealed in 2016 that the "scientific research and assessments conducted by international drilling companies show that Yemen's oil reserves are more than the combined reserves of all the Persian Gulf states." [Now we should better understand why the Saudi-UK-US genocidal war on Yemen has been going on for the past 12 years.]

• Rest in peace: Hamidreza Rajanzadeh was an Iranian religious singer who was kidnapped & had his heart ripped out of his chest while still alive. He was dismembered, and parts of his body were sent to his family & workplace. This was the work of the fascists who scream free Iran. 

• You might not believe it, but everyday for the last 163 days, a team is still searching for the body parts of the school children from the elementary school in Minab which the US bombed, killing 168 underage children. The remains of one child, Makan, are still missing. 

• The Pentagon is reportedly drafting a new nuclear strategy that’s expected to emphasize the use of tactical nuclear weapons to give the president more “options” in a potential nuclear conflict. The strategy, reported by NBC News, is being drafted by the Pentagon’s policy chief, Elbridge Colby, who has for more than a decade called for the US to develop additional capabilities to fight a “limited nuclear war.” The idea would be to shift the US nuclear strategy away from the focus on using strategic nuclear weapons to wipe out an adversary’s nuclear capabilities and focus more on the possibility of using smaller, battlefield nuclear weapons in a “regional” conflict. 

• According to Fox News, "a new report is urging the administration to expand US-Israel defense cooperation by making Israeli air-defense technology a central component of the Golden Dome, the planned layered missile shield intended to detect, track and intercept ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic weapons and drones before they can strike the US. The report warns that the planned missile shield could leave US cities, military installations and critical infrastructure exposed to increasingly common drone and cruise-missile threats if Pentagon directs too much money toward costly space-based systems that could take years to become operational.”

• Washington Post: Netanyahu rejects Trump-backed Gaza plan for Hamas disarmament, Israeli withdrawal. “Israel does not accept the 15-point document,” Netanyahu said. The US president had touted the Board of Peace plan as a step toward a lasting settlement. [This was likely scripted between Tel Aviv and Washington.] 

• The Times of Palestine: An Italian court has suspended a deal to equip Rome’s Fiumicino Airport with a radar system manufactured by Israeli company Rafael. The court ordered the system to be replaced within about two months by one produced by Italian company ELT. It also referred the case to prosecutors in Rome to investigate 'suspected irregularities'. The ruling comes amid growing opposition in Italy to military cooperation with Israel, following Rome’s suspension of the renewal of its defense agreement with Israel and worsening relations over the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.  

• The Islander: The deep strikes on Russian commercial warehouses and civilian infrastructure by Ukraine [via US satellite targeting/guidance and NATO drones] are not military. They are an attempt to produce a political miracle inside Russia for Kiev's masters. That is the desperate strategy of a side that no longer pretends to believe it can win by force of arms. The miracle is not coming. Russian society has absorbed the warehouse hits and terrorist attacks and galvanized wanting harsher strikes on Kiev. Gasoline prices are lower than a year ago. The political system [in Moscow] has not cracked. The production rates for the interceptors Ukraine actually needs like the Patriot do not exist for the Iran war let alone Ukraine. And the people who spent years insisting on fairytales that Ukraine could fight to a victorious end have been exposed. This is the reality on the ground as the west still declares it must fight to the last Ukrainian. 

• Kit Klarenberg: The Pentagon has activated a new psychological operations unit targeting Africa, tasked with “expanding the military’s ability to influence foreign audiences” across the continent. The heavily hyped launch occurs against a backdrop of dramatically and irreversibly waning Western influence and power in every sphere across the continent. As Africans steadily rid themselves of unwelcome foreign occupiers and oppressors, the US is forced to rely on strategies of manipulation to stem the tide, which have already failed spectacularly. AFRICOM has neglected to mention how France and Ukraine have heavily supported counter-revolutionary [terrorist] activities in the Sahel. An essay published by Militarnyi, Kiev’s most prominent military news site, makes clear the objective of these military and intelligence machinations is out-and-out regime change, explicitly in service of furthering the Empire’s interests in Africa.
• Stars & Stripes: Last year, the Pentagon approved 30 billets designated for soldiers with school-age dependents. The move marked the first formal pathway for select soldiers to complete accompanied tours in Poland. The arrivals reflect the continued growth of USAG Poland. Established in 2022 and home to the forward headquarters of V Corps, it’s the Army’s newest garrison. With no US military schools on post, incoming families must find alternative arrangements for their children’s education. [More evidence of the growing US-NATO encirclement of Russia.]
• A Trump-connected American oil company is moving ahead with plans to drill for what it claims could be $1 trillion worth of oil beneath Greenland, landing equipment without permission on the territory of one of America's NATO allies. Greenland Energy, a Texas company formed last year, has mobilized to drill in the remote Jameson Land region on Greenland's eastern coast. Local residents spotted a tugboat hauling a barge ashore and unloading containers intended for the planned oil exploration. That got the attention of Greenland's government, which issued a “strong warning” that permission to land the equipment had never been granted. “All future logistical matters must be advised and approved by the mineral resources authority – before they are carried out,” the government said. • Belgrade, Serbia: Serbs are not happy that the drug/terror lord Zelensky came to beg. [He's running out of donors across Europe. They've given much of their military hardware, billions of Euros and now find they can't deny news about the massive corruption inside Ukraine. This while most EU nations face economic crisis and growing austerity.] 

• Western populations increasingly believe the world is heading toward a global war, according to results from The POLITICO Poll that detail mounting alarm about the risk and cost of a new era of conflict. Across all five countries polled - the US, Canada, UK, France and Germany - the vast majority of respondents think that WW3 is likely within the next five years. The poll also revealed limited willingness among Western taxpayers to make sacrifices to pay for more military spending. Support fell sharply when people learned it might mean taking on more government debt, cutting social services or raising taxes.

• New York Times: What goes up sometimes comes down. The more objects humans launch into space, the more debris we will have to dodge on Earth. And lately, lots of satellites are being put into space. More than 300 rockets launched last year, nearly four times as many as 10 years ago. Nations have put around 16,000 mostly military satellites into orbit. Elon Musk’s SpaceX, which owns a majority of them, has applied to launch one million more. The chances of mass collisions in crowded Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) grow daily. And lots of spent satellites are falling back to Earth, burning up and creating a toxic stew into our atmosphere.

• Reuters: The US Senate has approved a bill to tighten American sanctions against Russia and Iran. The Senate voted 86-11 to pass the "Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026.” The bill allows Trump to impose targeted tariffs on imported goods from the five largest buyers of Russian oil or gas. The bill also includes a provision aimed at preventing the expiration of sanctions on Iran's energy and arms sectors.
