PFAS contamination in Maine & globally at US bases

My latest podcast interview is with expert Pat Elder about PFAS contamination.

We recently had a massive spill of PFAS at the former naval air station here in Brunswick, Maine.

Pat has been helping us figure out the dangerous future we now face. The government (local, state, federal) generally does its best to minimize the problem. So far the locals here have been trying to make sure it does not happen again, the state is AWOL, and the navy who is still responsible for the closed base's multiple toxic contaminations is generally out of touch.

Pat travels across the US and around the world to active and closed US military bases and has found major PFAS contamination of water, land and fish at each location.

My advice to those living near a US military base - test your water. Test the fish in lakes, rivers, or ocean.

Organize to close the bases!
