Ferment is all around us
many colors
many cries for justice,
peace and sustainability
the masses are afraid,
angry
and confused
Who should we believe?
Many ask
and painfully allow
the question to freeze them
into
no action,
complicity
by silence
The answer
is find your own truth
read more,
listen deeper,
see with your eyes
and heart,
allow yourself
to feel
then you will know
your truth
from your own
experience
But experiences
won't come
by hiding
from the world
no matter
its condition....

Most peace activists/strategists continually shift gears between the demands and focus of their personal life and their efforts to create peace in the world. Often the focus on the personal serves as a Haven from the cares of the world, but for many, their focus on just their friends, job and family does serve as an escape. I really think the paradigm shift that is starting to happen is first a shift in concsiousness that expands people's perspective to include more than kith or kin, even more than country, to care about our planet and all of humanity... The great evolutionary awakening.
