Israelis Protest Settler Violence Against Palestinians

Dozens of Israeli activists gathered in Tel Aviv to protest settler violence against Palestinians following a deadly incident in the occupied West Bank that left four Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers dead. The demonstration came amid growing concerns over escalating violence in the region.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a strong response, including accelerating settlement approvals, while Palestinian officials said the confrontation began after armed settlers approached the village of Tal near Nablus.

The recent rise in settler attacks has drawn widespread international criticism, with many countries and the United Nations reiterating that Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are considered illegal under international law—a position Israel disputes.
