Iran has lost all trust in the U.S.

  • In response to US attacks on 5 points at Iran’s southern coast, the IRGC retaliated with missile & drone attacks. Fars News, quoting a security & military expert: The IRGC targeted 8 US military infrastructures, including strategic and highly populated shelters, the marine control and data processing center, watchtowers, radar and communication systems at US Ali al Salem Air Base, Kuwait and US 5th Fleet Naval support base, Bahrain.

  • IRGC also says that from now on violating ships will receive heavier blows if they do not coordinate with Iran. It also warns the US that their attacks violate the first clause of the MoU. US is building up forces & equipment in the region. Violation of Clause 9.  War & occupation in Lebanon and Palestine continue. Violation of Clauses 1 and 13.  None of Iran’s frozen assets have been released yet. Violation of Clause 11.
  • According to Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. CENTCOM, there are more than 50,000 American troops currently in the Middle East.
  • Omani Foreign Minister: The Sultanate does not support imposing fees on ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz in compliance with the rules of international law. [Someone got to Oman and they changed their tune on this issue.]

  • Iranian President, Pezeshkian: Iran’s six billion dollars frozen assets in Qatar, out of the 12 billion will be released soon.
  • Israeli media, quoting a senior official in the occupation army: "We are preparing to operate independently in Iran without US assistance. This may happen soon." Defense Minister Yisrael Katz: "I have instructed the IDF to prepare for Operation Blue and White in Iran, and the IDF is eagerly awaiting it."
  • Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi asserted that Iran never expected the US to implement the memorandum of understanding, stressing that the “Iranians have no trust in the Trump regime.” He also added that “Iran knew that the US would drag its feet as much as possible,” arguing that it had agreed to electronic signatures without a formal ceremony because of that distrust, adding that Iran’s leverage lies in its control of the Strait of Hormuz. Marandi further asserted that “Iran won the war,” and warned that “Iran will continue to use that leverage” until the US fulfills its commitments, saying the future of the agreement depends on whether the US ultimately honors its side of the deal. As for the signed framework agreement between the Lebanese authorities and the Israeli occupation, Professor Marandi said it is an attempt by Washington to violate the US-Iran MoU and an attempt by the US to “undermine the agreement”.

  • Max Blumenthal: Sold-out Lebanese authorities have given the green light by Marco Rubio to Israel to extend its invasion of the country’s south, validating its ethnic cleansing of Shia citizens. Rubio, a pet project of the Israel lobby, is delivering a hammer blow to the MOU, and shivving JD Vance. Axios, citing officials: Trump spoke with the Lebanese president and congratulated him on signing the framework agreement with Israel.
  • Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem: Linking Israeli withdrawal to disarming the resistance in all of Lebanon is a very dangerous proposal that crosses all red lines and turns Lebanon into a pawn in the hands of the enemy. The agreement reached in Washington is a humiliating, disgraceful, and illegitimate agreement. Instead, the provisions of the Iran–US understanding regarding a ceasefire in Lebanon should be implemented.
  • Hebrew Channel Kann: The Israeli army has received instructions to begin preparing for the new deployment in accordance with the agreement reached with Lebanon.
  • Marwa Osman: It will be written in the margins of history that when the world isolated terrorist Israel. When nations rejected this entity. When even the US could no longer bear the political cost of Netanyahu’s massacres. When the world longed to see Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Smotrich held accountable for the crimes they committed against our people. It was the Lebanese authorities who stepped forward to rescue them, to legitimize their occupation and provide cover for their crimes against us, from the killing of the youngest infant to the destruction of entire villages. Shame. But shame will not endure forever. It will be erased only by the heroes of the Resistance in the South, the Beqaa, and Beirut. We will drive out the occupation. We will return to our villages. We will rebuild them. And we will consign this Lebanese government to the dustbin of history.

  • The Iran–US memorandum of understanding (MoU) is not regarded by the US and Israel as a ceasefire agreement; they also have a pattern of violating truces, states Dr. Greg Simons, professor of journalism at Daffodil International University. "They violate the conditions and then blame the opponent," Dr. Greg Simons says. "This is nothing which is unexpected. This is how they behave. The Americans are a declining empire. Their military is melting down. If they have a wider war, that's going to be accelerating the collapse of Pax Americana," Simons concludes.
  • Buried in this year's defense bill is House Amendment #319, filed by Representatives Zach Nunn (R-IA) and Don Davis (D-NC). It orders the Secretary of Defense to stand up a Pentagon Defense Innovation Unit office on Israeli soil within 180 days of the bill becoming law. A piece of the Pentagon, relocated to Israel. [Genocidal Israel and US are now joined at the hip with taxpayers covering the bill.]

  • Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered Iran’s Judiciary to pursue prosecution of American and Israeli officials for war crimes committed during the 2025 and 2026 attacks on Iran. The Leader cited the Minab school massacre killing 170 students and teachers, and the Lamerd sports hall strike that killed 24 civilians including young volleyball players. He declared these constitute hundreds of legal cases that must be pursued domestically and internationally. The message emphasized that perpetrators’ public admissions amount to acknowledgment of criminal liability under international law.
  • Israeli attack targeted tents of displaced people in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip tonight.
  • Venezuela despite its current problems is beloved. Mexico was in first, with 5 planes full of equipment and emergency workers. Cuban doctors are on the ground in La Guaira, Venezuela, helping the people affected by the recent earthquake. Yes folks, in the midst of an extreme pressure campaign by the US, against this Cuban program, Cuban doctors continue to do what they do best, save lives and help those in need. Death and injuries rank in the thousands.
  • Stars & Stripes: A sailor’s fatal fall in 2023 sparked a Navy probe that uncovered a drug distribution network aboard the Pentagon aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan and led to punishment for 58 sailors.
  • Former US State Department advisor James Carden sets the record straight: “The Tomahawk missiles won’t change a thing. No more than the HIMARS, Patriot, or F-16. The war is lost. And it’s Ukraine, not Russia, that’s on the brink of the abyss.” And he adds: “Ukraine has been attacking these Donbass territories since 2014. The Ukrainians aren’t entirely honest. They say they want the eastern lands and the Donbass, but without the ethnic Russians who live there. Over the past 30 years, they’ve done everything to strip these people of their rights.” [This statement destroys years of Western propaganda. The admission of ethnic cleansing of Russian-speaking Ukrainians by Ukrainian Nazis.]

  • Professor Yu Dal-seung of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies told Tehran Times that the US-Israeli war on Iran has prompted many South Koreans to question Western narratives. He noted economic disruptions from the conflict encouraged people to examine the war’s real causes. However, Western media still dominate South Korea’s international news, preventing deep change. Younger generations using diverse social media sources show more openness. Yu stressed that lasting perception change requires sustained educational and cultural exchanges, not just digital outreach. He described Iran as his “second homeland” from decades of study.
  • The Observer: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who is stepping down following a revolt within his own party, is interested in becoming the next secretary general of NATO. Starmer is interested in becoming NATO secretary general once Mark Rutte’s term expires in 2028, unless it is extended.
  • Nodutdol is a US based organization of mostly young Koreans and Korean-Americans living in the US. They report: For decades, the media narrative surrounding North Korea has focused on extreme isolation, famine, and economic decay. But recent articles from the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal reveal a jarring new reality: a booming economy complete with new skylines, Chinese EVs, modern restaurants, and widespread smartphone technology. Earlier this month, Chinese President Xi Jinping made a historic state visit to Pyongyang, marking his first trip to North Korea in seven years. The meeting actually marks an important development in the Beijing-Pyongyang strategic partnership. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2KP0jtV3XI
