Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital abducted by Israel

Yesterday Israeli forces stormed and invaded the besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, Palestine ordering the evacuation of medical staff, displaced individuals, and patients to the Indonesian Hospital. Doctors and patients were forced out, while several staff members were arrested on December 27. The Israeli occupation forces cut off oxygen to all patients detained in the hospital square and burned all the departments of Kamal Adwan Hospital. Make no mistake that this horror is fully funded and supported by United States. 

 

Israeli forces have abducted Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital on Friday along with dozens of other staff and taken to an interrogation center. One of over 10,000 Palestinians currently being detained and tortured by the occupation forces. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli forces have killed 1,151 Palestinians working in Gaza’s health sector. 

 

According to wounded Palestinians reported by Middle East Eye who arrived in February of 2024 at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia said that Israeli forces targeted them while they were waiting for food aid deliveries early this morning near al-Rashid Street, south of Gaza City. What we are witnessing in occupied Palestinian Territories is unprecedented and horrific where over 46,000 Palestinian civilians including over 17,000 children have been killed by Israel with United States diplomatic and material support.
