Because you KNOW appealing to the state Gov. Bobby Jindal or his equally repugnant accomplice David Vitter won't do any good whatsoever. The governments of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida are handpicked by the oil corporations and have been for generations.
