This woman, Kathy Boylan, is a friend of mine.
She lives and works at the Dorothy Day Catholic Worker House in Washington DC. They have hosted me at their house many times over the years. She is tough as nails - but loving and gentle as well.

I guess the White House and the Vatican got worried about the 'adverse' publicity. They canceled the Pope's visit 'due to the Los Angeles fires'.
