Went to see the new movie called Green Zone last night and I would highly recommend it. It is a good "Hollywood" story (starring Matt Damon) about the U.S. government's deception about the WMD's being in Iraq as justification for the attack and occupation that still continues to this day. As I was coming out of the theater I tried to pick up what others were saying. One young woman was telling another that the film was "too political."
I won't give away the story line but do think it is an important film. Even though I know the WMD deception story I still came away feeling pretty angry about the whole thing.
While it is a war movie the violence is not gratuitous.
