The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

Statewide protest in Augusta: No war with Russia or China

Busy intersection in Augusta, Maine. More honks than usual. Is the public figuring it out?

Are people getting tired of sending $$$ to the Ukrainian Nazi regime?

U.S. has a long and sordid history of running Coup d'état around the globe. The one in 2014 in Ukraine just might be the most dangerous one ever.

NATO is offensive

U.S. sending cluster bombs to Ukraine has finally enlivened some previously quiet peaceniks across the west. Add the UK and U.S. sending depleted uranium tank shells and what does all that say about the 'exceptional' moralistic west?

Talking about Biden hitting the Nordstream pipelines in case you missed that one. The biggest release of methane in human history. Where are the howls of indignation from the big environmental groups?

Ukraine and Taiwan are the 'twin triggers' for WW3. If you want to prevent nuclear war doesn't it make good sense to oppose US-UK-NATO expansion into a global military alliance on behalf of corporate capitalism aimed at Russia and China?

We had about thirty of us yesterday in Augusta. Thanks to all.

Our next three statewide protests will be:

  • August 19 in Ellsworth at 1:30 pm (Intersection High St/Rt 1 & Main St)
  • September 23 in Unity during Common Ground Fair at 1:30 pm (Rt 139 & Hwy 202 by Pizza shop)
  • October in Waterville (Date TBA)
