REFUGEE

We all are running
from something
throughout our lineage
our people ran
from the wild
woolly
Mother Earth
our home

Now those who run
get locked inside
cages
even the babies
from south
of the border

NAFTA took them down
but we don't talk about that
we just turn on the brown people
and drive them away
keeps us distracted
from what Mr. Big is doing
to all of us

Some are paid to
divide and
incite chaos
quite a job
killing your own people
find it hard
to understand

It's Mr. Big's
favorite play
Modus operandi
MO
every criminal
has a routine

Some call it
the Strategy of Tension
worth noting
it's our future
create chaos
and militarize in response

Seeing the coming storm
some run from it
refugees
others stand and resist
as best they can
try to give hope
and strength to those
hiding in the shadows
refugees in their
own right

Thanks, Lon;

A brilliant poem. I had not quite thought of our foreign/domestic policy as "militarizing chaos." Hadn't gotten that far yet, but he makes it unmistakable. So thank you for giving it to me. It makes so many pieces fall in place. The Ukraine. the false flag events. The glorification of the "N___g_r, Pimp, Criminal" archetype in popular culture. All examples of promoting chaos in order to install fascism. Also I like the way he brings it around to the point tat we are all refugees and thus circling to where the poem begins. Very cool.

Yes, Fred, all are variants; false flag operations, what the then not entirely censored press labeled 'teflon', the old British divide-and-conquer strategy of colonialism. Collectivism stamps out diversity....creates the refugee.
I was taken by the photo to begin, all races. Bruce Gagnon has been at it for a long time, but this is first time I've seen him write poetry, but no photo credit.
