If you're like me, you've likely been horrified by the images of people in wheelchairs protesting at the U.S. Capitol in an effort to prevent their healthcare from being cut -- and the authorities responding by zip-tying them like handcuffs and removing them from the building.
But it wasn't until I saw this very brief video that points out how this is actually an expression of eugenics, that I felt a chill down my spine.
Yes, I have known about the longstanding connections between eugenics ideology and Silicon Valley, but I had not thought about it in terms of this kind of persecution of disabled people.
Now I am seeing the horrifying connection between Trump's mafia-style fascism and the algorithmic fascism of the oligarchs.
God help us; it's despicable.
