All empires fall.
The American version
is hitting the skids.
Full stop.
The fabled greenback
soon will have the value
of the Confederate
dollar.
Lost in a sea
of blood and guts.
The empire of chaos,
ruled by narcissists
and war mongers,
is down
to its last pennies
and has run out
of trust and respect.
Some say
the oligarchs
are purposefully
crashing the economy
and looting the nation,
like pirates
grabbing the buried
treasure chest.
The great unwashed
will be left
to join the mounting
homeless hordes
who dip their clothes
into the increasingly
raging rivers.
The great Lakota leader
Sitting Bull,
signed up for
Buffalo Bill Cody's
'Wild West Show',
and visited the
east coast cites.
While in New York
street urchin kids
swarmed around him
in awe and begging
as he sat on a
run-down house stoop.
He handed them coins.
When Sitting Bull
returned to the reservation
in South Dakota
he told the people,
'We are in big trouble,
you should see how
the white man
treats their kids'.
