Just back from a weekend at the Common Ground Fair where I volunteered at our Maine Veterans for Peace table. Twenty thousand folks came to the fair on Friday and 23,000 came on Saturday. Sunday's crowd was less as it rained for awhile. I am quite tired, sleeping in the car was a challenge but I pulled it off.
Always great to see old friends and meet new people. Had many great political discussions as you can imagine. I'll write more about it tomorrow. Right now I need a shower and some good sleep in a real bed.
Was able to do alot to promote our upcoming Walk for Peace with folks. Something good will come from all that interaction throughout the weekend.
