After another eight hour drive MB and I returned to Maine yesterday from Syracuse, New York. We arrived at the lake island home of a friend where we will stay for two days. This morning we both went for a kayak paddle around the lake and I just came in from an invigorating swim. The water is cool but not cold and felt wonderful. Next up is some reading while sitting in the sun and some lazing around.
On Saturday we'll drive to Belfast where a peace festival is being held. I'll speak on a panel along with a couple other members of Maine Veterans for Peace.

Enjoy your time at the lake. You both work so hard helping people and require this sort of recharge.
Our beautiful state is the place to do just that.
