Russia's ban on western food products, in response to sanctions from the EU may deal a nearly 7 billion euro blow to the European Union every year. That's according to new survey by a Dutch banking corporation. RT's Peter Oliver reports.
You'd think that Europe would wise up and stop following the US over the cliff.....

It's surprising that Europeans would throw out that many sweet peppers. I get it, they are really euros, but they need to think more creatively and let the people glean. Those peppers could be processed, if not commercially by citizen volunteers. They should all be roasted and put in jars, even made into ajvar. Then sent to the local food pantry, or ship them to Ukraine where they now weep when they get a loaf of bread.
If there is austerity, where is the industrious frugality? Our grandparents would never waste a red pepper. They grew and canned even in big cities. I guess times have changed and our generation is not respectful or thankful for the food. We just go to the mega food mart and throw out a high percentage.
