It appears he did not get the nomination from his party to be their candidate on election day. Thank goodness......

And doing the same hand gestures and facial expressions and alternative soft and screech voices. If it were done in German and subtitled am die Englisch it would be so convincing that all he'd need next is a little mustache and a freaky looking comb-over.
I can almost hear the thought processes going through the minds of the audience "No, not yet, give it another 10 years for the last of the WW2 vets to die off, then we bring him out"
It didn't help that he physically resembles Herr Schicklgrüber, maybe a little taller.
