BUSH PIRATE CREW MOVING TO CONSOLIDATE CONTRAL AND DOMINATION

I got back home late last night from the Veterans for Peace convention in Seattle. It was a long flight to Boston and then the bus to Portland. Mary Beth was waiting there to give Doug Rawlings (Maine VfP chapter president) and me a ride home. Doug still had to make the drive further north to Chesterville.

Slept in a bit this morning and then began to wade through the many e-mails. One email had a CNN interview link with New Yorker magazine write Seymour Hersch about how the U.S. had been working with Israel well in advance of their shock and awe bombing of Lebanon. It had all been planned and was just waiting for the right "incident" to be put into motion. The Bush team saw the Israeli bombing of Lebanon as a field test for the eventual bombing of Iran. I'm certain both the Bush pirate crew and Israel are now just "waiting" for the right incident to justify the attack on Syria and/or Iran.

Also across my e-mail today was an AP story from July 29 that reports, "U.S. citizens suspected of terror ties might be detained indefinitely and barred from access to civilian courts under legislation proposed by the Bush administration, say legal experts reviewing an early version of the bill. A 32-page draft measure is intended to authorize the Pentagon’s tribunal system, established shortly after the 2001 terrorist attacks to detain and prosecute detainees captured in the war on terror. The tribunal system was thrown out last month by the Supreme Court. Administration officials, who declined to comment on the draft, said the proposal was still under discussion and no final decisions had been made."

I am convinced that the Bush team will try some bold stroke before the November mid-term elections that will give them the "excuse" to declare martial law and suspend the election. (I hope like hell I am dead wrong on this but the evidence seems to be lining up.) They don't want to take a chance and lose the Senate or the House in an open election. They have the power now and don't intend to give it up. They want to bring "democracy" to the Middle East. Of course what that really means is that they want to "control and dominate" the Middle East so they can control the flow of oil from that region. By doing that they then would have leverage over Europe and China.

These folks in power are sick mad men and women who will do anything to keep control. We had better stop harboring illusions that they are anything other than three-piece suit fascists and begin to act accordingly.
