You are so right, Bruce. The problem is capitalism. Yes, Bolsonaro's motivations and actions are extreme, but someone else just like him could come along to replace him. It's the global economic system that MUST change.
The game is rigged when it comes to aid for developing countries in the form of IMF loans, so that the people are forced to exploit their natural resources to repay them.
I've heard of a comunitarian economic system. The transitional economic system, which I've proposed, I call genesis, and the bottom line is not making money or profit, but the quality of life for everyone and stewardship of the planet.
