The latest edition of This Issue
features Miriam Pemberton from the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington
DC. She was recently in Maine to speak at a public forum in Bath about
conversion/diversification of the military production network across the
nation. She particularly emphasizes the need for peace groups to work with
unions, church groups, environmental groups and other interested parties to push
for diversification planning councils to be established at the state
levels.
