We are the Caretakers of Mother Earth

The oil-heads and earth rapers have implemented a plan, they bought the Cannonball and an easement to try to block the protest. and apparently they're going to station National Guard troops there. In the Winter. Right now it's early fall. The wind is whipping down the plains, to quote the musical "Oklahoma!" The unrelenting wind that will last until April. The wind which could have been used ever since the innovation of windmills (really old technology) and generators. But to the occupation forces, the wind and the White Blanket are enemies.

And now, the lowest level of "employees" (ahem) slaves... heavily armed slaves, but helpless slaves... are to be stationed there. Forever. Or until the pipeline is no longer profitable for their masters. When the oil companies abandon their toxic waste conduit, so it can seep into the groundwater.

But the 'troops' who will be stationed there, guarding the so called property of their rich-bitch masters, forever... not fighting for freedom or anything else their recruiters promised them.. Just to protect the privilege of their masters to destroy anything or anybody for their own profit.

It's a disease of the soul, which causes the very being of a man to always want to hoard away more and more, never to be satisfied, and which he will leave to another, as Solomon wrote. And all the kings horses and all the kings lawyers, courts and fancy exhibitions of power won't be able to ensure that Humpty Dumpty can actually name the people who inherit "his" wealth.

I pity the soldiers and other cops who are going to be camping out this winter. The People are used to it. Those tipi theyre putting up more of every day? For housing on the plains, they're finest kind. The people have developed the tipi over thousands of years. What the oil and land developers look upon as agonizing poverty is the start of the strength of the Family. (a fairly good english translation of Lakota,Nakota and Dakota) and God has made, on the plains, the ultimate expression of what the Russians call Field Marshall Winter. There's a missile base up there, at Minot, really close to the Canadian border because a) the Canadians wouldn't allow U.S. nukes in Canada and b) The closer you are to the north pole the easier and faster you can put up a rocket into low orbit and bring it out of orbit halfway around the (top of) the world.

Minot AFB is considered punishment detail. Maybe some of the National Guard soldiers remember that.

Thanks to Brother Jonah for adding this perspective. I pity the troops.
