Obama's New Secretary of War: Ashton Carter on 'Missile Defense'

Obama's new Secretary of War Ashton Carter visiting a 'missile defense' battery

"Ballistic missiles that threaten the United States, that is one of the reasons that we need to keep our missile defenses and especially our ICBM defenses current, capable and large enough in size to deal with both the perspective Iranian threat and the also very real North Korean ICBM threat."
Dr. Ashton Carter
Secretary of Defense Nomination Hearing
February 4, 2015

Iran and North Korea are the boogy-men used to justify major expenditures on 'missile defense' research, development, testing, and deployment to encircle Russia and China.

The Missile Defense Agency's FY 2016 budget request of $8.127 billion is the highest in three years.

Shouldn't it be the "PROspective" Iranian threat, meaning, the threat that doesn't exist yet?

Isn't there some International sanction that can be applied to a state that has been guilty of wars of choice in the past, and is currently threatening millions of defenseless civilians around the world with annihilation?

" the prospective Iranian threat and the ""very real"'' North Korean threat" ?????? North Korea has NO, NONE ZERO, NADA ICBM's...And its unlikely they ever will - unless US aggression pushes China or Russia to a decision to arm North Korea with ICBM's...The "prospective Iranian threat" is a palpable fraud. A US and Israeli created media lie, that only a fraction of even their own people believe. We are governed by liars and frauds armed with nuclear weapons. We are seeing a new kind of fascism, one where big capital are no longer merely the clients of police state largesse, they ARE the state.
