It's a hard time ahead,

most of us afraid,

depressed,

furious, motivated,

but lost in the shuffle.

 

Elections ain't

gonna help,

nor will,

many 'liberal institutions' that swear loyalty 

to Mr. Big.

 

People with heavy

stock investments

will likely stay quiet.

 

Don't we know 

it's time to get on-board?

Truth train.

Needed more than ever.

Lift every voice.

 

Having to face, 

at the same moment,

our present reality and the need for serious public action,

many find it hard

to join hands.

 

But we are older

and maybe a bit wiser now.

 

We know our lives are meaningless

unless connected to our 

ancestral generations 

who fought their way

thru wars, plagues, famine,

droughts, earthquakes, floods and

cold nights.

Their hard lives brought us here today.

Their spirit is inside

all of us.

 

We,

in our relative luxury,

complain when we have to answer the door.

Some accept the grim reaper. 

Many have given up hope.

Witness the current difficulty

of building a revolution.

 

We must protect the next 7 generations.

We don't have much time to play a round.

Being human

trumps

all the rest of the shit show around me.

I'm willing to share hands with anyone

who is principled and wants to help 

fight for life.
