The collapsing US military & economic empire is making Washington & NATO even more dangerous. US could not beat the Taliban but thinks it can take on China-Russia-Iran...a sign of psychopathology for sure. We must all do more to help stop this western corporate arrogance that puts the future generations lives in despair. @BruceKGagnon

Israel is responsible for this madness

The Electronic Intifada's Ali Abunimah spoke to Al Jazeera English about the unprecedented Palestinian resistance operation took Israel by surprise on 7 October 2023, leading to more than 200 Israeli deaths and dozens of people reportedly detained.

The Israeli government may have just declared war, but its war on Palestinians started over 75 years ago.

Netanyahu’s “warning” to evacuate Gaza is absurd. The majority of Gazans have never left this tiny strip of land in their lives—they aren’t allowed to.

"Israeli apartheid and occupation — and United States complicity in that oppression — are the source of all this violence" states the organization Jewish Voice for Peace.

Here is a statement from Amnesty International:

“The root causes of these repeated cycles of violence must be addressed as a matter of urgency. This requires upholding international law and ending Israel’s 16-year-long illegal blockade on Gaza, and all other aspects of Israel’s system of apartheid imposed on all Palestinians. The Israeli government must refrain from inciting violence and tensions in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, especially around religious sites. Amnesty International calls on the international community to urgently intervene to protect civilians and prevent further suffering.”
