Come
out to stand with concerned citizens Saturday, April 13 at 1:30 pm to
say NO to bad funding priorities -- no more $$ for Israel! No more $$
for Ukraine!
We'll stand at the busy intersection of Pleasant St & Maine St (Tontine Mall) in Brunswick, Maine.
We'll vigil on the four corners for an hour and then walk thru downtown with our signs and conclude with our usual closing circle.
As
the genocide in Gaza continues, and violence spreads throughout the
region, the Biden administration is sending more bombs and planes to Israel
for terrorizing Palestinians. Over 100,000 have been killed
or wounded. Mass starvation now grips Gaza. Israel is also moving 15,000
troops into the West Bank to create a similar situation there.
Still
the U.S. continues funding and arming genocide while many in the U.S.
live paycheck to paycheck, struggling just to get by.
