Palestinian aid - Belfast to Gaza

 

 

When I went to the Donbass in 2019, to see for myself what was really going on along Ukraine's Russian-ethnic border with Russia, I met Fra Hughes from Belfast, Ireland.

For almost a week we toured Donetsk and Lugansk together along with our sponsors and guides. It was an unforgettable experience. You can learn more about it here

Fra is a great activist who has worked on Palestinian issues for many years and made several trips there. He also has been a stalwart building support for the Russian-ethnics in the Donbass who have regularly been under assault by the US-UK-NATO backed Nazi-led terrorists since 2014. 

I trust Fra implicitly.

Fra has been running a Palestinian Gaza aid charity for years in Belfast. Mary Beth and I last year signed up to donate each month to it. We get regular reports such as the one below about how the money has been spent. It is always put toward kids needs in Gaza - food, coats, school supplies, sporting/cultural events and such. More donors are always needed as the Israeli apartheid military keeps their ugly boot on the necks of Gaza - especially the children. You can donate here  

After each of the regular donations to Gaza, the contacts there send a detailed report how the funds are used. Fra says, "We've sent over $60,000 dollars , just over $33,000 since May 2021."

Greetings to everyone. Here is the monthly financial report: 

 

In September, we launched an initiative to fund a morning breakfast for children in the primary stage in marginalized areas. We chose 4 boys and girls schools, and we provided a sum of money to each school principal, allocated only for a light breakfast containing a sandwich and a juice box for students who cannot go to the canteen to buy that meal. 

 

This initiative created great joy among the beneficiary children, the school administration, and the students’ families. 

 

The distribution was as follows: 

 

1-Ahmed Abdel Aziz Primary School A, $262. 

2-Al-Safwa mixed Primary School, $314. 

3-Tariq Bin Ziyad Primary School, $262. 

4-Girar B Boys School, $314. 

 

We paid $4 for transportation, $15 for a family in need, and $29 for assistance for children outside the scope of these schools. 

 

This initiative was encouraged by the Directorate of Education, and we will send you pictures of our activity and some messages of thanks. 

 

We were not able to film a video out of respect for privacy.
