The Albatross around our necks

 

 

Just who is it

holding us back

from peace 

and financial stability,

real security and true justice?

 

Who is devouring

our labors

and our sacred

Mother Earth?

 

Whose fat appetite 

steals the wealth

from our 

collective nations

and the next

seven generations?

Who profit$

from endless war

and pushes

divide and conquer rule

everywhere

their big asses land?

 

But inspiration comes

from the long

colonized and 

oppressed people

of Africa, China, Russia

who now show great courage

and strength

as they ensure

the greedy and arrogant

western white colonizers

at long last

receive their just 

rejection.

How will Washington,

Paris, Berlin, Brussels,

and the

City of London

react

to their final

denouement?

Will they vainly

and mercilessly

strike the fatal blow

against the great unwashed

who cry for bread

and roses?

 

This is not the time 

for us to idle,

our life-giving agitation

must grow 

with determination

and love.
