After WWII the US went on to create the Bretton Woods Agreement too which displaced the British currency as the global standard to control the world economic flow and at the same time NATO to act as the tip of the spear of the empire through the military war against the Soviet Union which opposed all this.
That is why we are still at it with trying to overthrow the opponents to the U.S. empire. Only though now there is China, Iran, etc countries also joining the opposition. And think of it too about NATO.
It is supposed to take an act of Congress to declare war but NATO is at war all over the globe without Congressional approval.
We have lost a lot with the NATO war on Ukraine. It is also directed at undermining democracy and public control here too…
