US has been preparing Ukrainian counteroffensive ‘for months’ – Nuland

 RT

The “Maidan midwife” confirmed Washington’s role in the conflict

at the Kiev Security Forum

US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland told an audience in Kiev on Thursday that Washington has been helping plan the Ukrainian ‘counteroffensive’ against Russia for almost half a year.

“Even as you plan for the counteroffensive, which we have been working on with you for some 4-5 months, we are already beginning our discussions with [the] Ukrainian government and with friends in Kiev – both on the civilian side and on the military side – about Ukraine’s long-term future,” Nuland told the Kiev Security Forum via video-link from the State Department.

She added that the attack will be “likely starting and moving concurrently” with events such as the NATO summit in Lithuania, scheduled for July 11.

According to Nuland, the US is also planning for Ukraine’s future military to deter Russia, so “wherever and however this ends – one year, six years, 16 years – we are not doing this again.” She also painted a rosy picture of a future in which Ukraine would be the “engine of Europe’s revitalization” and “setting the democratic example… for the whole world.”

The forum was organized by the Open Ukraine Foundation, established by former Ukrainian PM Arseny Yatseniuk, who moderated the panel at which Nuland spoke. Another panel was co-sponsored by the Atlantic Council, whose officials argued that “transatlantic unity and robust support can help Ukraine defeat Russia and renew European security.”

The government in Kiev had been heralding a major “counteroffensive” for months. President Vladimir Zelensky and other Ukrainian officials have argued that they didn’t have quite enough weapons, ammunition and equipment and needed the West to send more. As of Thursday, two of Zelensky’s advisers gave public statements implying the offensive hasn’t started yet, while a third insisted it was already underway along the 1,500-kilometer long frontline.

Nuland famously traveled to Kiev to support the Maidan protests in December 2013, handing out pastries to the crowds demanding a pact with the EU. In a February 2014 phone call, she discussed the composition of the future Ukrainian government with US ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey Pyatt, infamously declaring “f**k the EU”. Three weeks later, nationalists would violently seize power from President Viktor Yanukovich, triggering events that would lead to Crimea rejoining Russia and clashes in the Donbass.

Returning to the State Department in 2021 as part of Joe Biden’s administration, Nuland was once again put in charge of Ukraine policy. Speaking at a Carnegie Foundation event in February, she said the conquest of Crimea and regime change in Moscow would be the ideal outcome of the current conflict. Her husband is Robert Kagan, a co-founder of the neoconservative Project for an American Century and her sister-in-law, Kimberly Kagan, runs the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a Washington advocacy group frequently quoted by Western media about the situation on the Ukraine frontline.

History lesson: The MOVE massacre in Philadelphia

Yesterday, while in Philadelphia, MB and I visited friends who live there. They took us to the scene of the infamous Philly police department massacre of the MOVE neighborhood.

In 1985, Philadelphia police bombed a residential building to end a standoff with Black militant group MOVE, setting a new standard for institutionalized violence and the dehumanization of Black bodies.

TARGET: PHILADELPHIA explores the rise of police militarization within the contexts of Black nationalism and the systemic disenfranchisement that incubates movements like Black Lives Matter.

A view from Philly

MB and I visited this fascinating place while in Philadelphia called 'Magic Gardens'.

Here is a video about the couple (Isaiah & Julia Zagar) who created this amazing space that has grown to many spots around the neighborhood and the city.

Warmonger Sen. Graham links war with Russia & China

If the United States fails to back Ukraine enough in the war against Russia, that would send a signal to China that it could take Taiwan, a senior Senator said on a visit to Kyiv on Friday (May 26).

Lindsey Graham, a Republican, said after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that U.S. President Joe Biden should send more weapons to Ukraine in addition to the more than $35 billion of weaponry and military hardware already provided.

Graham says in the video:

“Russians are dying....We have never spent money so well”

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) a leading war monger against Russia. Talk like this is what could very well lead us into WW3.

See bi-partisan delegation (Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. John McCain, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Rep. Marcy Kaptur) below to US-NATO training base in western Ukraine back in 2016 which he was a part of. US has been planning this war a long time.....

Love this truth telling from South African leader

During a recent interview with a BBC reporter former South African minister of sport and current secretary-general of the African National Congress Fikile Mbalula said he welcomed good relations with Vladimir Putin, much to the reporter’s dismay.

When reminded that Putin is an accused war criminal, Mbalula pointed out that former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair was responsible for millions of deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan, yet he was not threatened with arrest.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the reporter’s hurried backpedal and race to shift topics as soon as Blair’s criminality was mentioned.

History lesson: Nazi story won't disappear

“Honest and idealist … enjoys good food and wine … unprejudiced mind …”

That’s how a 1952 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) assessment described Nazi ideologue Emil Augsburg, an officer at the infamous Wannsee Institute, the SS think tank involved in planning the Final Solution. Augsburg’s SS unit performed “special duties,” a euphemism for exterminating Jews and other “undesirables” during the Second World War.

Although he was wanted in Poland for war crimes, Augsburg managed to ingratiate himself with the U.S. CIA, which employed him in the late 1940s as an expert on Soviet affairs. Recently released CIA records indicate that Augsburg was among a rogue’s gallery of Nazi war criminals recruited by U.S. intelligence agencies shortly after Germany surrendered to the Allies.

Pried loose by Congress, which passed the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act three years ago, a long-hidden trove of once-classified CIA documents confirms one of the worst-kept secrets of the cold war–the CIA’s use of an extensive Nazi spy network to wage a clandestine campaign against the Soviet Union.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: This video story does not even mention Operation Paperclip that smuggled 1,500 Nazis into the US that were used to seed the entire U.S. military industrial complex. The space program, the CIA, air force space medicine, the MK Ultra mind control program, and many more. These Nazis were not researched and hounded by this 60 Minutes program.

I wonder why.....?

Is Biden pushing U.S. toward WW3?

Andrew Napolitano interviews 27-year CIA Russia specialist Ray McGovern.

They talk about what options Putin might have had rather than Russia's Special Military Operation.

Also discussed the current 'Cuban Missile Crisis in Reverse' due to Pentagon missile launch bases now built in Poland and Romania. From these facilities the U.S. can launch first-strike attack nuclear capable Tomahawk cruise missiles followed by interceptor missiles that would attempt to take out Russian retaliatory responses.

McGovern reminds us that Biden's policy today is constant escalation in Ukraine and at various NATO bases now encircling Russia.

No U.S. base on Papua New Guinea!

  Mt Hagen students protest

By Merolyn Ten

STUDENTS of Mt Hagen Technical College (HATECO) in Western Highlands Province staged a protest march to stop the signing of Defence Cooperation Agreement between PNG and the United States.

Giving the same reasons, the University of Papua New Guinea, the University of Technology and the University of Goroka have all conducted protest marches demanding the Prime Minister James Marape not to sign the deal until and unless the citizens are fully aware of what is entailed in the document.

Mt Hagen City was crowded yesterday with vehicles as hundreds of students and people marched around the city demanding the government not to sign the pact.

Tertiary students throughout the country have had a sleepless night on Sunday planning and discussing a peaceful nationwide protest march, and with security personnel safeguarding the activities yesterday, the protests were delivered successfully.

“We have petitioned the government and have conducted the protest march nationwide for the reason that we want the government to make known the content of the pack agreement to the entire citizen and also table the document in the floor of parliament for people’s approval before signing it,” said one of the student leaders Gordon Walimbu, who is a final-year Political Science student at UPNG.

He said everything that was written in the Defence Cooperation Agreement must be in favour of the PNG and its people whereas the country’s sovereignty must be protected at all cost. “We cannot be tricked and bullied as minorities to this great superpower country that has persuaded our government for its own interest.

We will never allow this to happen as this move is very dangerous for PNG. We are friends to all and enemy to none’ as stated in our international policy,” Mr Walimbu said.

He said tertiary students were very conscious about the sovereignty of the nation.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and PNG’s Defence Minister Win Daki signed the PNG-US Ship Riders Agreement and the PNG-US Defence Cooperation Agreement despite growing domestic opposition and fears that PNG was selling its sovereignty, fears that were amplified when a draft copy of the latter was leaked to regional media last week.

Biden's debt ceiling betrayal is a Democratic Party tradition

Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich in 1995

By Margaret Kimberley (Black Agenda Report Executive Editor and Senior Columnist)

Joe Biden is continuing the ignoble tradition of colluding with republicans while pretending to fight them. The latest debt limit drama is another betrayal of the people.

When Joe Biden was first elected president his propagandists and their friends in corporate media told us that he was “the most progressive president since FDR” and that he would “cut child poverty in half.” Yet the temporary covid relief programs have all gone, from the Child Tax Credit, to emergency SNAP nutrition benefits, to automatic medicaid enrollment, and all with little fightback from the democrats. Now Biden is continuing the democratic presidents’ tradition of using sleight of hand to sell out the millions of people who have already lost what little help they had. The republican bogeymen and women have returned just when Biden needed them to make the case for his plan to further eviscerate the social safety net and continue the race to the bottom which results in precarity for the people.

Democrats lost control of the House of Representatives in the mid-term elections in 2022 and now they get to do their worst. They point at their fake enemies, the republicans, and whine that they are being forced to do things they claim they want to avoid. The routine is pretty stale but it worked for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and Joe Biden isn’t straying from the tried and true theatrical plot.

As always, republicans threaten to shut down the government if the debt limit isn’t raised. Biden, begins like his democratic predecessors did, saying that a shutdown would be terrible and would destroy the economy. He calls names like “extreme MAGA” and says that his alleged opponents are all very bad and awful people. After that act in the drama was over, Biden then announced his willingness to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget. What is being cut? Not money for Ukraine, which is getting an additional $375 million in military aid. The republicans insist on stealing from the people, the poorest people, and after pretending to be outraged Biden is going along.

He said that he would accept republican demands that medicaid and SNAP benefit recipients be required to work at least 20 hours per week. According to the Congressional Budget Office some 600,000 people would lose health coverage and 275,000 people would lose SNAP benefits every month if these rules go into effect.

The game hasn’t changed much since the Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich agreements of 1995, or Barack Obama’s attempt at a “grand bargain” with republicans in 2011. Dissent within republican ranks saved cuts to entitlement programs and Congressional Black Caucus [CBC] leader Emmanuel Cleaver dubbed the proposals as a “sugar coated satan sandwich” and later added, “This debt deal is antithetical to everything the great religions of the world teach, which is take care of the poor, aged, vulnerable.”

Now the highest ranking member of the CBC, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, says that democrats are willing to freeze spending, which would actually cut $1 trillion from the budget over a ten-year period. His justification is all too familiar, “We're willing to discuss freezing spending at current levels. That's an inherently reasonable position many in our party might even be uncomfortable with, but President Biden recognizes we're in a divided government situation.”

The CBC has certainly devolved over time, but Biden’s willingness to cut deals goes back decades. When Clinton was caving to Newt Gingrich he did so with Senator Biden’s full support.  “When I argued that we should freeze federal spending, I meant Social Security as well. I meant Medicare and Medicaid. I meant veterans’ benefits. I meant every single solitary thing in the government. And I not only tried it once, I tried it twice, I tried it a third time, and I tried it a fourth time.”

During Biden’s 2020 campaign reluctant democrats were told that his presidency provided “harm reduction” from the very bad and evil republicans. But there is no harm reduction in a system dedicated to killing government spending with cut after cut. The recycled drama would be funny if it weren’t so serious. Democratic presidents tend to win congressional majorities when first elected but then lose control in midterm elections and that is where the dirty deeds are done.

They first proclaim themselves adamantly opposed to austerity measures but after a few meetings in a smoke filled room they announce what they call a compromise. They shake hands with their erstwhile opposition and then announce that all is well.

Now members of the CBC or progressives don’t even bother with pretend push back. If they say anything at all their words are muted and they defend the stab in the back as Hakeem Jeffries does. The 2024 presidential campaign has already begun and we can be certain that lesser evilism and harm reduction will be the democrats’ talking point yet again. Democratic presidents are like characters added to sequels that Hollywood churns out with a winning movie franchise. Just as in the movies the suspense is phony and the endings are the same, with the protagonists living to fight another day and doing the same thing all over again.

Z-man blast from the past

A young Zelensky defending Russian interests in the Donbass Region of eastern Ukraine.

So how did Z-man get from that point in the video to where he is today running around the globe trashing Russia and demanding more money and weapons? And refusing serious peace negotiations!

Essentially destroying his own nation and sending hundreds of thousands of his own people into the meat grinder. Grabbing very young men off the streets of Ukraine and forcing them into the army.

Two thoughts - first the loaded gun against his head which is being held by his Nazi backers from western Ukraine. Secondly the obvious bribes/extortion money that he and his cronies have received from his US-UK-NATO backers.

Seymour Hersh writes that Z-man and buddies have pocketed $400 million. That's not small change.

It is said he has an expensive villa in Italy, a nice joint in Miami Beach and who knows where else. His Swiss bank account is likely bulging at the seams.

At some point Z-man becomes expendable to his current western backers.

It's a sad story no doubt.

All blamed on Russia of course.

'No one is safe....'

Looking Back on the Sadism of the Covid-19 Shaming Campaign

By Matt Taibbi and Matt Orfalea

As Matt Orfalea's new video shows, apologies are due for the media campaign against "the unvaccinated," which unveiled open cruelty as public policy strategy.

There’s a scene in videographer Matt Orfalea’s arresting new “Nobody is Safe!” compilation in which Jeff Van Gundy — one of the sharpest basketball announcers alive, and one of my favorites to watch — leans back and says, “I don’t even understand what that means, ‘I’m doing my own research.’”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biden’s new pick for Head of the NIH, Monica Bertagnolli, received more than $290 million in grants from Pfizer. This appointment comes more than a year after former director, Francis Collins, left the beleaguered agency. With deep ties to Pfizer and the cancer industry, she joins a roster of agency heads with questionable conflicts of interest, contributing to a growing distrust of our health agencies now seemingly beyond repair.

AI: ChatGPT and the Future of Propaganda

Organic Consumers Association

Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola:

"I’ve often marveled at the effectiveness of modern propaganda. Part of what makes it so effective is the availability of technology, from social media and search engines to large language model artificial intelligence. OpenAI’s ChatGPT has taken the world by storm and companies across a range of industries are already talking about replacing large numbers of white collar workers with AI.

This, even though there are serious problems with this technology. For example, we’re finding chatbots have a tendency to lie and fantasize. Researchers are calling these instances “hallucinations.” Basically, the AI is concocting a fantasy based on the information available and reciting it as fact. And that’s in addition to the bias that can be built in by programmers. So, while it’s an incredibly exciting technology, we cannot be naïve about its risks.

One obvious risk is that state-endorsed propaganda can become the only information available to people, as this technology starts monopolizing online searches and virtual assistants.

There won’t be a multitude of answers anymore. There will only be one, and he who controls the AI will have the power to control the beliefs of the entire world. Of course, yet another risk is that no one will be able to control it and the AI will control itself. I don’t know which might be worse."

Photos from anti-war protest in Belfast, Maine

We had 37 folks join us yesterday for another of our monthly anti-war protests - this time in Belfast, Maine. They came from all over the state.

The response once again was primarily positive along this busy Rt 1 intersection on the edge of town.

One driver, an old man, said to me, "It's good to see someone finally taking a stand'. Because I was positioned on the medium strip in the middle of the road those stopped at the traffic light often rolled their window down to talk with me. Several liked my sign that read, 'No More $$$ for Ukraine: $140 billion so far'.

Young and old alike passing by affirmed our belief that the American people are coming around and are eager to see this Biden administration neo-con war aimed at Russia shut down. Several motorists mentioned that Washington is wasting their taxpayer dollars which are desperately needed here at home.

In the immortal words of Daniel Berrigan, 'Know where you stand and stand there'.

We are planning several months ahead now - particularly as the Maine summer tourist season swells our roadways with visitors from all over the country and around the world.

Here is our upcoming schedule:

Saturday, June 24
1:30pm
Lewiston, Veterans Memorial Park (Intersection near the bridge, Maine & Lincoln Streets)

Saturday, July 22

About peace initiatives and their shortcomings

Magyar Békekör Egyesület Hírek
Budapest, Hungary

We can witness a multitude of peace initiatives these days. A Chinese delegation is visiting Europe, Kiev and Moscow, Pope Francis is looking for a way out in agreement with Viktor Orbán, Africa is sending a delegation to Europe. Not to mention the activation of civil society and the wide-ranging peace efforts of parties and international party associations.

There is no shortage of goodwill and good faith, even more so in initiatives for lasting peace and a just solution. At least in terms of interstates. Some sections of civil society are ahead of Western governments. They just don’t let them have a say in NATO affairs. And NATO decided to continue the war. The states striving for peace, including the Hungarian one, mostly urge an immediate ceasefire and negotiations, but they do not give an answer to the question of what kind of peace they want, on what basis they urge political negotiations. This is precisely where the key to the solution lies.

The world is full of pacifist daydreams, even though we know exactly why the conflict in Ukraine broke out and what further consequences may result if, instead of recognizing and satisfying legitimate security interests, they hope for a solution from the Kiev system, which is the main obstacle in the way of compromise.

On December 15, 2021, Russia presented to Washington and NATO, and on December 17 to the country and the world, what it wanted:

  • The expansion of NATO and the inclusion of Ukraine in NATO must be ruled out;
  • NATO cannot deploy additional troops and weapons outside of the countries in which it was present in May 1997. (Since at that time none of the Eastern European countries were members of NATO, this demand can be interpreted as the withdrawal of NATO troops and weapons from all Eastern European countries, noted the Hungarian Community for Peace.) In exceptional cases, it would be allowed. the deployment of such troops and weapons, but only with the joint consent of Russia and NATO;
  • NATO must cease its military activities in Ukraine, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia;
  • They may not install medium- and short-range missiles where a strike can be measured on the territory of the other party;
  • They should not carry out military exercises larger than one brigade, and only in an area in which they have agreed in advance, and they should also regularly inform each other about the military exercises;
  • Confirm that the parties do not see each other as adversaries and settle all their disputes peacefully, refraining from the use of force;
  • Undertake an obligation not to create a situation that the other party can interpret as a threat against them;
  • Establish a hotline so they can contact each other in case of an emergency.

Until February 24, 2022, the beginning of the Russian military intervention in Ukraine, Moscow may be convinced through many diplomatic negotiations that its legitimate security demands would fall on deaf ears at the USA and NATO. As soon as this became clear, it had to be decided whether Russia would wait until NATO launched an attack from Ukraine, or whether it would take a preemptive step to eliminate the possibility of being forced into another war of national defense after World War II in which he sacrificed 20 million lives for his own freedom and that of Europe.

Although the Western powers accepted without exception the principle of the indivisibility of security at the 1992 Helsinki summit, and in the 1999 Istanbul Charter, they agreed that no country can assert its security at the expense of the security of other countries, they violated what they signed at the first opportunity. Nothing proves this better than NATO’s continued eastern expansion, the inclusion of former socialist countries in the military bloc, the inclusion of Finland, the planned inclusion of Sweden, and the expected invitation of Ukraine to the North Atlantic Alliance at the NATO summit in Vilnius in July.

With the exception of China, there is no known peace plan that seeks a political solution to the conflict based on the principle of mutual security. Beijing clearly sees that peace does not depend on the relationship between Moscow and Kiev, but on whether the West finally comes to its senses and takes Russian security demands seriously. I think Washington and Brussels still think they can put the Russians on both shoulders

The West has said: it wants to achieve a strategic victory over Russia. Can anyone question what role Ukraine will play in achieving this?

Pope Francis also recognized that peace does not necessarily depend on the Russians, but rather on Biden’s America. After all, Moscow left the door open before the trial even after it intervened militarily in Ukraine. It was not by chance that the Holy Father came to Hungary instead of Poland!

He did not want to provide moral support to Polish Catholicism imbued with anti-Russian sentiment, but to the peace policy of the Hungarian government, which did not give in to anti-Russian sentiment and did not add fuel to the fire of war. They didn’t make a big deal out of it, but Pope Francis and Viktor Orbán obviously agreed that it wasn’t the Russians who needed to be convinced of the importance of mutual security, but America. The big question is whether they have enough strength to do so, apart from morals.

Our societies, the so-called civilians, can not only lend them moral strength, but can also do a lot with their political action to demand a just peace. As history proves, the “two-handed worker” is capable of great things if they work together. It may be that the average Hungarian person does not yet sufficiently perceive the danger that lurks for him if the war raging next door escalates and our NATO allies turn us into a parade ground, i.e. we also become a target, but this sense of relative security can quickly fade away if the situation gets angry, and we drift into a war from which we could only come out as losers. Who needs this?

Fortunately, not everyone sleeps Sleeping Beauty’s dream! Mass demonstrations in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria indicate the demand for peace. Hungarian and Austrian peace organizations come together to defend the neutrality of Austria and to achieve the neutrality of Hungary. People with many different worldviews and party affiliations find a common denominator in the defense of peace.

Demonstrations are being organized here as well, against our country being drawn into war, to defend its peace. In the “We want to live in peace” call, they indicate what the game will be like: “Our Western allies, allied with domestic political and military circles, want to force us into a war on the side of Ukraine, against Russia. They blackmail us, interfere in our internal affairs, consider a coup d’état, and want to replace the legitimate government with a puppet government. They want us to give up our pro-peace policy, send weapons and soldiers to Ukraine, and go to war with Russia again, this time together with NATO”.

They continue: “We are not interested in confrontation, but in good relations with both the East and the West. Here, in the heart of Europe, on the path of historical wars, peaceful cooperation with the West, with which we conduct 80 percent of our trade, and with Russia, which satisfies 80 percent of our energy needs, is a vital issue for us. All our interests are linked to peace and progress! Let’s not let them take our future away from us and dispute our right to exist,” reads the appeal of the Hungarian Peace Community for Peace.

UK's Depleted Uranium shells to Ukraine backfire on Europe

Ukraine's Depleted Uranium Blast: Europe on Brink of 'Environmental Disaster'

Sputnik News spoke with Dr. Chris Busby, physical chemist and scientific secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk, about how the West’s decision to provide depleted uranium (DU) ammunition to Ukraine has potentially caused a continent-wide ecological disaster. Below is part of his answer.

"So taken all together, what we see is a massive explosion which is thought to be DU, and reports of a spike in gamma radiation near the site. Uranium oxide is black, and the black plume moves north west slowly, the weather pattern is stable and the wind blows to Poland. The Polish EU detectors all show gamma radiation increases at the expected time of arrival of the plume. The EU detector system is shut down rapidly, but not before we have obtained data from several sites. The Poles provide a detector result that identified Bismuth as the cause of the increase, but do not go so far as to formally state that it is (in case of later blowback).

One final piece of evidence. We see videos on the internet of the Ukrainians clearing up the explosion site using Robot vehicles, not ordinary firemen. Why do they need Robot vehicles? The last times we saw Robot vehicles clearing up was in the ruins of Chernobyl and Fukushima.

If I am right, there has been an environmental disaster, and the DU particles will travel across Poland, Germany and Hungary, and will end up in the Baltics, probably later the whole of Europe including the UK (after all, the Chernobyl Uranium particles came to the UK).

They will deliver genetic damage and death like that seen in the Balkans [Yugoslavia] and Iraq [when US-NATO used DU in those wars]. Cancer, birth defects, miscarriage, infertility, lung damage, mental problems (Gulf War Syndrome) and so forth. The scientific and epidemiological evidence on this has been clear since the Gulf War. It is all there in the scientific literature—but the governments in the West and the military ignore it, deny it and cover it up. In the case of the UK coroners court finding for Stuart Dyson, the jury found that DU caused his fatal colon cancer. But when the coroner wrote to the health minister (as he had to by UK law, Rule 43) the reply was: we disagree. This stuff can be measured, but no one will measure it, or if they do, they will be attacked and their arguments dismissed."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bruce's comment:

These British DU tank shells were meant to be used in Russian-ethnic eastern Ukraine - the Donbass region. Much of that area voted last year to join Russia.

Russia realized that the goal was to create a radiated hot bed along the Russian border with DU. Russia beat US-UK-NATO to the punch and blew up the DU weapons storage facility in western Ukraine, close to the Polish border.

Now the toxic cloud is heading west into Europe and eventually the UK. This was an arrogant and colossal mistake by NATO to send these DU shells to the war zone and now their own populations will have to deal with the results.

My advice? Western nations citizens need to throw their governments out of power before further nuclear madness occurs.

We all need to hit the streets in protest repeatedly and get our fellow citizens to think about the pure insanity coming out of Washington-London-Brussels-Berlin-Paris-Kiev.

Dem Senator Rosen from Nevada: 'Peace talks troubling'

During a recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on “worldwide threats,” Nevada Democratic party Senator Jacky Rosen asked Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines what the United States is doing to counter China’s efforts to 'broker peace' in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Rosen expressed genuine concern that the United States’ constant warmongering is leading the developing world to look elsewhere for leadership, and China is moving in to fill the breach.

(Avril Haines got her job via Secretary of State Tony Blinken. Blinken was a long-time operative connected to Biden.)

The crumbling Z-man's PR trip backfires

Ukraine’s ambassador to France has lashed out at a French TV network for airing a segment that likened President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Europe tour to a "travelling circus".

The Ukrainian diplomat has demanded an apology and called the sarcastic characterization “cynical" and "lacking tact".

Stop Weaponizing Viruses and Pathogens

Demand an Immediate Global Ban on Gain-of-Function ‘Biomedical’ and ‘Biodefense’ Research!

As the global COVID-19 death toll mounts, the debates rage on. Masks, or no masks? This drug, or that one? Send kids to school, or keep them home?

Yet absent from most of the day-to-day mainstream coverage of COVID-related issues is the life-or-death conversation we should be having: How do we make sure that this—or something much worse—never happens again?

On that question, there should be no debate: It’s time to end the reckless genetic engineering and weaponizing of pathogenic viruses and organisms, carried out under the guise of “biomedicine” and “biodefense,” by demanding an immediate and total global ban on all gain-of-function research.

Interview with Canadian radio show

Interview with Bruce Gagnon, coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space. Bruce is a long time organizer and Peace advocate and writes for a blog called Organizing Notes.

We speak about the major events leading up to this conflict, the role the US and Nato have played behind the scenes. We speak about the Odessa massacre that happened in 2014 which is never spoken about in the MSM. How the Peace movement is not large enough in the US and Canada due to the "party before principles people".

How we need to find some courage and a heart to fight for Peace while we still can.

Update:

I made one mistake - I said that for the past 500 years Russia has been repeatedly invaded by a European country. 'Every year' I said, which was wrong. I meant to say 'every 100 years' Sweden, France, Germany and now US-UK-NATO have attacked Russia wishing to take control of Russia's vast resource base. The western powers have continually lost. During WW2 when Nazi Germany invaded the former Soviet Union over 27 million Soviet citizens lost their lives.

Long time strategy of building fear of Russia

Art: Arthur Johnson, 1934

A satirical map warning against the dangers of spreading Communism. Europe (metaphorically, as a woman) awakens to an infestation of red bedbugs, each with the Soviet star on its back. Her plight is mirrored by the map behind her, showing the "vermin" not only in Russia and Eastern Europe, but Spain, France, England, the Scandinavian countries - and at the borders of Germany.

Kladderadatsch was a satirical German magazine founded in 1848. The magazine supported Hitler from the 1920s with increasing enthusiasm, frequently publishing cartoons that were anti-communist (like this one) and anti-semitic. It ceased publication in 1944.

Arthur Johnson was born in Cincinnati and raised in Germany after his father became U.S. Consul in Hamburg. He trained as an artist in Berlin, and During World War I he contributed a number of cartoons to Kladderadatsch attacking the Allies, particularly the English. By 1934, he was an ardent Nazi and the author of a number of the magazine's anti-semitic cartoons.

China’s diplomacy is getting red hot

A few comments from China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin in the Monday morning news conference:

We urge the US, Japan and other G7 countries – all members of the club of the rich – not to harm the interests of the many for the selfish interests of the few in the world of nations.

Syria’s return to the Arab League shows again that when the shadow of the US shrinks, the light of peace spreads.

The US and a handful of countries call their way of playing the game “the rules” and regime change in other countries “spring”. That twisted “political correctness” will not get them anywhere anymore.

While the costly war machine drags on.....

Hungarian-Austrian Forum for Peace and Neutrality

Vienna, Sunday, May 14, 2023

A social forum was held in Vienna on Friday evening to defend the neutrality of Austria and to claim the neutrality of Hungary, the Hungarian Community for Peace announced on Sunday.

The meeting was organized by the Austrian Social Coalition for Peace and Neutrality with the aim of joining forces with the Hungarian Peace Community and the Hungarian Forum for Peace movement for the peace of the Austrian and Hungarian people and for neutrality in face of the conflict in Ukraine.

Wilhelm Langthaler, the leader of the Austrian coalition, proposed joint actions against those who want Austria to give up its constitutional neutrality and side with those who want to go to war with Russia.

As an invited speaker at the forum, Endre Simó, president of the Peace Community of Hungary, considered it to be in the common interest of the two countries that Hungary should not allow itself to be dragged into war, pursue an active policy of neutrality, and together with Austria refrain from adding fuel to the fire.

"We expect that the demand for neutrality in Europe, primarily in Eastern and Central Europe, will increase to the same extent that the Russians achieve their triple goal of de-Nazification, demilitarization and neutrality of Ukraine," he said.

Simó agreed with the organization of joint actions for the sake of peace. Both sides called it important to broaden cooperation with similar peace movements in other Central and Eastern European countries.

The Austrian audience participating in the forum saw the possibility of a peaceful solution to the conflict revealed in neutrality. Some suggested a Swiss-Austrian-Hungarian-Balkan neutrality alliance for it. It was considered important for the peace movement to confront the business world with its interests against sanctions. One commenter drew attention to the fact that weapons are being shipped to Ukraine through neutral Austria, and the government in Vienna is allowing it.

Even though Austria is neutral, if, as a member of the European Union, it subjects itself to an alliance that arms Kiev, it will actively participate in the conflict on the side of Ukraine, against Russia, they said. One speaker expressed the opinion that it would be a disaster for Europe if Russia could not achieve its triple objective in the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine. The United States is ready to sacrifice Europe against Russia to protect the interests of the background power, it was said.

In his response to what was said, the president of the Hungarian Peace Community expressed his joy for the unity for peace and neutrality included in the joint statement on February 24. We will experience many developments and surprises in the coming times, which may lead to profound social changes in the life of Europe. We have to prepare for this with all our knowledge, he said.

Since we clearly want a world order of peaceful cooperation instead of the current world of confrontation, we must be able to meet the new requirements of the multipolar international world order to play a role in managing the life of our countries in accordance with our people's desire for peace. In creating a political-social system that has no interest in warfare anymore.

The Vienna peace forum will be followed by one in Budapest on June 2, where the invited speaker will be Wilhelm Langthaler, head of the Austrian Social Coalition for Peace and Neutrality.

Canceling WW2 history

The reason why they want to cancel the anniversary of the victory over Nazism

By Manlio Dinucci (Grandangolo, Italy)

A major political-media operation is underway at an international level to cancel the Anniversary of the Victory over Nazism. President Putin's speech at the May 9 Military Parade in Moscow, on the 78th Anniversary of the Victory, was presented in the West as a low-key speech without revealing its real content. In Latvia and other eastern countries, the police identified and even arrested those who paid tribute to those killed in the war against Nazism.

In Ukraine, in the commemoration of the Anniversary of the Victory over Nazism, an absolute ban and threat of arrest or worse has been imposed. At the same time, the action to eradicate everything Russian intensifies. Monuments commemorating the price paid by Russia to liberate Europe and the world from Nazism are being destroyed – in Ukraine, Latvia, and other Eastern European countries: 27 million people died, over half of them were civilians corresponding to 15% of the population (compared to the 0.3% loss of the US in all of WWII); about 5 million people were deported to Germany; over 1,700 cities and large towns, 70,000 small villages were devastated; 30,000 factories were destroyed.

In Latvia, the 550,000 Russian speakers, who compose over a quarter of the population, are denied the right to use their own language, imposing a difficult Latvian exam on them: those who do not pass it are expelled from the country. This occurs despite the fact that Latvia is a member of the European Union, which guarantees minorities the right to express themselves in their own language.

The EU has done more: it has decreed that the 9th of May is “Europe Day”. Ursula von der Leyen went to celebrate it in Kyiv to "demonstrate that the European Union stands by Ukraine which is fighting for the ideals of Europe that we celebrate today". She told this to President Zelenski, who just signed a law to erase any Russian symbols from Ukraine, thereby erasing Ukraine's own history. At the same time, the Ukrainian Supreme Court ruled that the symbols of the SS Galicia division, which was guilty of horrendous crimes, are not Nazi and can therefore also be used today in demonstrations.
