Read the corporate media 'upside down'

 

 

I remember quite well, at the time of the collapse of the former Soviet Union, hearing a story about Pravda which was one of the leading newspapers at the time. 

Pravda means truth in Russian. The story went like this: If you want to really know what is happening in the country then you have to read Pravda 'upside down'. 

So in the west - where the Empire of Lies rules - we need to follow that example and learn to view our corporate controlled media upside down.

The lies in the media are endless. Whether it is NPR, BBC, New York Times, Washington Post or any of the mainstream TV networks - the story is always written by the CIA and Wall Street banksters that actually run most of the western countries.

Stories about the economy (especially in relation to failed sanctions on Russia), war in Ukraine, Pelosi's trip to China (even so-called 'Democracy Now' had a person on the show to support current US policy on Taiwan), climate crisis, Covid (which I believe was a bio-warfare weapon), or the day-to-day workings of our government in Washington. Virtually all lies - every day - 24/7.

Nothing but half-truths, deception, distortion.

Just take the US-NATO's favorite clown-boy Zelensky in Ukraine. There has been more western media promotion of this paid actor than anything else I've seen in my life. Despite the fact that Ukraine is losing this war badly (that was created by Washington and Brussels) the corporate media continues to say that Russia is losing and that Ukraine is 'poised' to begin a counter-offensive and secure victory against the bear. Of course it is all BS.  

Alternative media outlets and journalists who try to bring us the truth are increasingly de-platformed.

In the western media we don't hear about the massive numbers of working class and poor people in prison in the US. We rarely ever hear about Julian Assange or other political prisoners in US jails. We never hear investigative stories about the obscene profit$ of the military industrial complex. We never hear about corporate corruption and oligarchs funding of 'selected leaders' in Washington. How often do we get stories about the growing homeless crisis?

We don't hear about how the banksters control most of the governments in the west. One such example is Mario Draghi in Italy who is a former director and vice president of Goldman Sachs. We don't hear how Harvard, Yale, Oxford are used to select and train the coming generations of corporate lackeys.

We never hear about how the courts in the US are packed with corporate controlled judges. Thus no real justice for the people.

We don't hear about the US's more than 800 military bases around the world and the negative impacts from those military outposts. The environmental damages, the killing they do, the bars and prostitution, the drugs that are shipped into the bases, nor the massive waste of taxpayer dollars. All hidden from the public consciousness.

Washington talks alot about 'freedom and democracy'. Pelosi had those words dripping from her mouth during her arrogant foray into Taiwan this week. But the US version of freedom should be defined as 'freedom to rob, plunder, destroy like pirates for the benefit of the ruling oligarchs'. That message will never be reported in the western media.

Our own liberation begins when we first understand how we have been brainwashed our entire lives. Then from there we must learn to decipher how the media wraps the truth in lies and buries it so that the public never has any real chance to know what is happening in our world. 

Only when we develop the skill to turn the corporate media upside down can we hope to truly be free human beings.

There are 40 million people in Ukraine, 10 million people are refugees, 400,000 people are beggars living on the streets, and the four generations of old, middle-aged and young people who are alive now will no longer have a happy life. It will take 20 years for Ukraine to rebuild the country. At the pre-war level, 20 years of reconstruction, 20 years of stagnation, and a further 40 years of stagnation.

Post-war Ukraine, where to work, where to sleep, how to rebuild, how to survive, who will help them? If you want to know the future life in Ukraine, then go to Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan after the war. The Iraq war ended for 30 years. What is the street in Baghdad now? How many beggars are there in the streets of Afghanistan and Syria now, and who will help them? Iraq still has oil, what does Ukraine have?

That is to say, the Ukrainians used its 40 million living and dead people to create the "brilliant image" of the Ukrainian President.

Zelensky won warm applause in the US Congress, the British Parliament and the Japanese Parliament, and became the anti-Russian hero of the Western camp, but what price did the 40 million Ukrainian people pay?

Zelensky is a hero, but he is still a fool. He should accept it as soon as he sees it, instead of relying on the uneasy and good-hearted war support of the West. Maybe he hasn't figured out what medicine is sold in American gourds!

The victory of the Ukrainian war is a victory for the Americans - NOT Ukraine. The Ukrainian country will be riddled with holes and the people's life will be set back for 40 years. Even if there is a victory, it will be too bitter!

We think of Taiwan, which has the same fate. There are 23 million people in Taiwan, and 8.7 million people choose Tsai Ing-wen. In Ukraine, the people can run into neighbouring countries who will accept them as refugees. Where will Taiwanese run to as refugees except on the high seas? Taiwan's politicians, media, and the Internet have portrayed Tsai Ing-wen as a tough image of a 'hot Taiwanese lady'. The path you take, and following the bidding of United States is the path of war, everything must have a cause and effect, because you are walking the path of war, so you will usher in the consequences of the war in Taiwan.

DRAGHI: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

"Among the countries in Western Europe, Italy had one of the strongest links with Russia. Draghi's mission was to break this pattern repositioning Italy in relation to Russia": the New York Times writes. 

 

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi [resigned from the office on 21 July 2022 and will remain as caretaker prime minister until a new leader is elected] has not only transformed Italy into a belligerent country against Russia by sending weapons and instructors to the Ukrainian forces but has promoted sanctions against the Russian central bank and the admission of Ukraine to the EU. For these and other "merits" the authoritative USA Fortune magazine includes Mario Draghi among "the 50 greatest leaders in the world".

 Draghi's career took a decisive turn when - after having dismantled the Italian public assets with privatizations as Director of the Treasury - he became director and vice president of Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs is not just a US bank but a powerhouse of the financial elite who through the "revolving door" policy places its men in key institutional positions.

From 2005 to 2021 Draghi first became Governor of the Bank of Italy, then president of the European Central Bank, and finally Premier of the Italian Republic.

The results of the "mission" that Draghi carried out with the total complicity of the Italian Parliament plunged Italy into an unprecedented crisis: while the price of gas (following anti-Russian policies) rose from 15 to 200 euros per megawatt hour, Italy accumulated such a level of liabilities that - writes Fortune - "the cost of the loan for Italy has become prohibitive, rising to unsustainable levels". 

The Italian crisis is similar to the one in which Greece plunged losing what remained of the public assets with the "rescue package" of the EU. The situation is aggravated by the devaluation of the euro against the dollar, which increases the cost of imports. The decisive factor, therefore, is to overturn the policy that Draghi has implemented with his "mission" in Italy.
