On March 8th, 1971 eight antiwar activists broke into an FBI office in
Media, Pennsylvania and stole over 1,000 classified documents which
revealed J. Edgar Hoover's criminal government operation, COINTELPRO.
COINTELPRO was directed towards the public and broke first
amendment rights and was later dismantled. But we know this shit still
exists.
The eight antiwar activists called themselves the Citizens' Commission to Investigate the FBI.
