French Oppose Corporate Trade Deal

 
Workers in Paris sparked violent protest, expressing outrage over a proposed law that would put an end to many workers’ rights and regulations. Demonstrators claimed the proposals would benefit big corporations at the expense of workers, particularly on issues of decreased wages and increased work hours – protections they say must stay in place with the looming TTIP trade deal.
