Say a prayer
for the Mother Earth
getting pounded
by endless war

and say a prayer
for the mothers
and fathers
who lose
a child
to this insane
death march

Even though
I hate war
I do believe
people
have the right
to defend
themselves
when fascists
come calling
backed up
by the might
and $$$$$
of the
USA

It still
breaks my heart
and I pray
for the day
when it all
ends

that day
will come sooner
with my help
