At a meeting in Langley on Whidbey Island, WA Jan 17, 2015 with CONgressman Rick Larsen a young Ukrainian man who now lives on Whidbey Island spoke out about human rights abuse in the Ukraine. His question was how could the United States ignore the human rights abuse by the Ukrainian government against their own people NOT Russia? He specifically mentioned Petro Poroshenko, one of Ukraine's richest men, "The Chocolate King". I had respect for this man having the courage to speak the truth. Larsen blew him off stating he could not see the Ukrainian government attacking its people. Had hoped to speak to this young man but he left before the meeting was over.
ReplyDeleteWas Larsen marginalizing him to use the excuse of Russia the evil empire to expand the destruction by the U. S. Navy of Whidbey Island and the UNESCO Heritage site the Olympic National Forest. We don’t want to live in an armed camp the Pacific Northwest needs protection from the Department of Destruction (DoD).
