BECK CONTINUES PROMOTING HATE

This is a very important segment from today's Democracy Now. It should be seen by everyone.

For more than a year, Fox News host Glenn Beck has been increasingly targeting Frances Fox Piven, a 78-year-old distinguished professor of political science and sociology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Beck has repeatedly accused her of advocating violence and of hatching a plan in 1966 to overthrow the system.

I've known of Piven's work for years and it has been all about empowering the weakest people in our society. To see her being demonized by Glenn Beck is just unbelievable. But this is how the oligarchy is setting up the "angry right" to go after the "left" as the economy collapses instead of directing their frustration toward the corporate Wall Street elements that truly pull the strings in America. This is the brown shirts at work in our time.

Yeah, I noticed that the TeaBags never run out. They've got an endless supply of Mentally Ill Lone Wolf Misfits to do their dirty work for them.

And it's just an eerie coincidence that the Mentally Ill Lone Wolf Misfits hate exactly the same people the TeaBags hate.

    Spooky, man. Real spooky.

Ms. Fox-Piven said she was.. well, she didn't quite say "afraid".
Contrast this with what Tucson TeaParty leader Brent Humphries said of Congresswoman Giffords: "hey, it was her fault, if she felt threatened she shouldn't have appeared in public".

There's a defining line between Cowardice and Courage. Both involve fear, the bravest heroes are afraid. That's not the line.
The coward gives in to fear, the Courageous, keep going in spite of that fear.

Leave it to an "alleged" Terrorist group not to know that.

  3. "It's Can't Happen Here", Sinclair Lewis, 1935. Read it and weep folks. If you find yourself rationalizing what is happening, then you are lost. It's time to wake up while there is still time.
